Kyiv Floated Idea of Attacking Ozon, Wildberries, Now Seeks Western Support: Putin

The president said Russia should have anticipated such attacks

Moscow, October 15. /TASS/. Speaking via video link to the Delovaya Rossiya business forum, Russian President Vladimir Putin said that Kiev came up with the idea to attack Ozone and Wildberry and is now asking its sponsors to influence Russia to stop retaliatory attacks.

"Unfortunately, we've encountered enemy actions against our platforms—both Wildberries and Ozon. They just happen to continue to take certain actions that, frankly, we probably should have anticipated," the president said. "But we thought they wouldn't come up with this idea. They did. We start to respond and then they immediately appeal to their supporters and ask them to put pressure on us and stop us. That's what happened with the energy facilities. They're still doing it," Putin stressed.
