Lorestan Wheat Farmers' Dues to Be Paid by End of Mehr

Khorramabad – Director General of Grain and Commercial Services of Lorestan promised that wheat farmers' dues in the province will be paid by the end of Mehr.

Khorramabad - General Director of Grain and Commercial Services of Lorestan promised: the demands of wheat farmers of this province will be paid by the end of October.

In an interview with Mehr reporter, Saeed Darabi stated: Lorestan General Department of Grain and Commercial Services, as the trustee of guaranteed purchase of wheat, according to the activity of 50 shopping centers in the province, wheat growers have purchased 330 thousand tons of wheat in excess of the farmers' needs.

He said: The total Riyal value of buying wheat in the province was 16 thousand billion Tomans.

General Director of Grain and Commercial Services of Lorestan added: 95% of this amount has been paid to wheat farmers in the province.

Darabi stated: According to the follow-ups, the rest of the demands of Lorestan wheat farmers will be paid by the end of October.
