Ben Affleck's son Samuel seems to have developed a taste for Lamborghini four years after accidentally driving one of them into another luxury car.

During a recent appearance on his "Animals" co-star Kerry Washington's podcast, "The Street You Grew Up On," the 54-year-old actor said that 14-year-old Samuel inherited his penchant for luxury items.

Affleck, who has three children including Samuel, Violet, 20, and Finn, 17, with ex-wife Jennifer Garner, told Washington that he recently stopped asking his son to buy a Lamborghini.

Ben Affleck admitted that his teen toasted his dating history over dinner.

"I see my son now, you know, and he's a lot like me," Affleck said. And that makes me realize—because I'm two older—they kind of spoiled me because they're like, "No, we don't want this. We don't want that." They're like, hateful."

"Son, like dad, you've got to get Lambo," the Oscar winner recalled with a laugh. "What? A swimming pool? are you crazy Am I an a-hole in a yellow Lamborghini driving around like a club?'' He's like, 'Yeah.'

Rob Lowe says his son was robbed at knifepoint in New York after ignoring his father's warning.

"No. No!” Affleck shouted as Washington laughed.

Samuel previously crashed a yellow Lamborghini while visiting the 777 Exotics, a luxury car dealership in the Los Angeles area, with his father and Affleck's then-fiancee, Jennifer Lopez, in June 2022.

At the time, Affleck let Samuel, then 10, sit in the driver's seat of a bright yellow Lamborghini SUV before the boy accidentally reversed the car and got into a white BMW.

According to the New York Post, the car involved in Samuel's accident was a Lamborghini Urus that was rented for $1,475 a day and was worth $250,000 at the time.

At the time, representatives for Affleck and 777 Exotic both told The New York Post that there was no damage to either vehicle. An employee at the rental agency also said that there was no hard feeling about looking for fenders.

Christian Cavallari received his children's flight instructor as they sat in first class.

"Affleck loves cars," the dealership employee told the New York Post. "We hope they come back in."

Lamborghini is not the first expensive item that attracts Samuel's attention.

In March 2025, an exchange between Affleck and Samuel made headlines after Samuel was seen admiring a $6,000 pair of Dior x Nike Air Jordan 1 sneakers in a video shared on Instagram.

During an interview with Access Hollywood later that month, Affleck joked about the viral video

Michael Douglas says Kirk Douglas gave him $10,000 when he was 21 and told him he was on his own.

"That's what you get when you tell mom to mow the lawn," he told the publication. All of a sudden they don't want those shoes, and he's like, "But I always said they were hard."

"It's always a bummer why I have to be... I'm like, 'Man, you don't need a thousand dollar shoes!'" He's like, "We've got money." Affleck quipped, "I've got money, you're broke!"

Affleck shares three children with Garner, who he was married to from 2005 to 2018. During an April 2025 appearance on "Today with Jenna & Friends," Affleck explained how he teaches his children not to expect handouts from their famous parents.

Affleck explained that he wants his children to understand the value of hard work.

"You love your kids," she said. "You want to give them everything and do everything for them, but I think you're definitely doing them a disservice by not communicating [if] you want what you want, you have to work for it."

During a recent appearance on "Late Night with Seth Meyers," Affleck said his children don't care about his success in Hollywood.

"When my daughter was born, right around the time I directed my first film, I had a lot of movies that didn't work and were so unremarkable that I felt kind of humiliated and thought, 'God, I really want to make my kids proud with my career,'" he recalled.

"And as I got older, my kids got older, what I realized is they don't give a s---," she continued as the audience laughed.

"They don't really care," he added. "The coolest thing I've ever done, in my kids' eyes, is become a meme."

Affleck later entered into an official partnership with the coffee chain in 2023, when he starred in and directed the first Super Bowl commercial.

During an interview with Myers, Affleck recalled asking his children why they were so impressed by his Dunkin' meme.

"I'm like, 'Why is that cool?'" she recalls, "They're like, 'You're relevant.'

"I'm like, 'I'm surrounded and depressed by this guy,'" quipped Affleck.

"So, I should target Mim?" Myers asked.

"Yeah, that's a high score," Affleck replied.
