Ta'ziyeh Marking the Martyrdom of Lady Zahra (SA) in Memory of Mother | Village Marks 3 Years Hosting Fatemiyeh Ceremony
For three years now, the village of Arjenak in Khansar County has hosted a Ta'ziyeh performance commemorating the martyrdom of Lady Zahra (SA) during the Fatemiyeh mourning period. The gathering, organized by veteran Khansari ta'ziyeh performer Mostafa Qanooni in memory of his mother, has drawn enthusiastic attendees from other cities.
Arjank village in Khwansar city has been hosting the martyrdom assembly of Hazrat Zahra (PBUH) for 3 years in the Fatimid decade. The assembly that Mustafa Kouni, a veteran reciter of Khansari, has established in memory of his mother and has been welcomed by enthusiasts from other cities.
According to Ambassador Arjan, one of the veterans of Ta'zieh in Khansar, he has been the founder of Ta'zieh in the Fatimid decade for several years, and many enthusiasts go to this village to watch Ta'zieh. Mustafa Kouni told Ambassador Arjan: "Normally ta'ziyya is held in the Muharram decade, but after my mother's death, I decided to perform a ta'ziyya on the subject of the martyrdom of Hazrat Zahra (PBUH) in the village during the Fatimiyya decade." The reception of the residents also made the Ta'ziye of the Fatimid decade to remain strong in the village until now, after 3 years, and to host artists and enthusiasts from other cities."
The history of reciting recitations in the villages of Khansar reaches 250 years. Mustafa Kouni, a veteran Ta'zieh reciter in Khansar, still remembers his first encounter with Ta'zieh. He says: "I was not yet 10 years old when I took the first role of tazzie and read the first poem, but unlike many tazzie singers, I liked to play the role of Ishaqiya and be an anti-singer."
Kouni considers the reason for this choice to be the difficulty of work and continues: "It is very difficult to oppose." While the tears are in your eyes and you want to shed tears, you have to perform the feeling and mood of the opposition singer in Ta'ziyeh correctly so that the show works in the best way. I thank God that this gift was given to me and that I achieved my dream and was able to perform the recitation in Ta'zia."
Many years have passed and he has appeared on the stage many times in the role of Shamar, Yazid, Ibn Saad, Harmleh and other actors. Performing these roles is not only limited to memorizing poems and dialogues; Rather, it is an art to arouse the emotions of the audience. He explains that the tone of the opposition singer is different from the painful and melodious singing of the supporter and he measures his success by the reaction of the people. Kouni says: "After the end of Ta'zia, I can see from the angry and angry look of the audience that a good role has come out and the message of Ta'zi' has been conveyed to the audience."
Among the memories of his long years in Taazieh, he remembers one night the most; The night when the impersonation of Hazrat Ali Akbar (AS) was not performed. He volunteered to take on the role. This decision was followed by the concern of the elders of the Ta'zia Majlis; Can he handle such a role without training? Kouni says: "I said to myself that Imam Hussain (AS) should help me and he will help me." The performance went well and I was not ashamed in front of the mourners of Imam Hussain (AS).
He has been engaged in the traditional tile making business for many years, but with the arrival of the days of Ta'zieh performance, his work and life take on a different color. For him, ta'ziyya is not just a ritual performance, but a part of life. For this reason, during the Fatimid era, he held ta'ziyeh meetings and recounted the story of the martyrdom of Hazrat Zahra (PBUH) in the form of this religious art for the mourners.
The first Ta'zieh Assembly of Fatemiyeh will be held from Friday 24 Mehr in Arjank village, located 22 km from Khansar in Isfahan province. This village has a population of 317 households and its eco-tourist accommodations welcome tourists.
