Zakani: Even in the midst of war, we do not stop building and serving the people

Emphasizing the continuation of the path of martyrs in the fields of defense, security and construction, the mayor of Tehran considered Martyr Lieutenant General Mousavi as a model of morality, honesty, precision and respect for others and announced the urban management program to complete the highway in the west of Tehran and connect it to the northern ring of the capital.

According to Ambassador Arjan, Alireza Zakani, the mayor of Tehran, at the opening ceremony of Martyr Lt. Gen. Amir Mousavi (Dogaz) highway, referring to Martyr Lt. Gen. Mousavi's personality traits and his role in the cooperation between the city management and the army, stated: What enables effective efforts and leaps for the country is the sum of ethics, commitment and dedication to religion and nation and benefiting from all the tools of power.

Stating that there was a certain transparency, clarity and purity in the existence of Martyr Mousavi, he said: Morality, honesty and accuracy were institutionalized in the existence of this martyr, and these characteristics caused people to be interested in him, get familiar with him and not feel any distance between himself and him.

Referring to the cooperation between the city management and the army during his tenure, Zakani added: "During this period, we made the biggest understandings with the army, and Martyr Mousavi was the flag bearer of these understandings." He followed the issues with trust and precision and always emphasized on the reflection of the reports of these cooperations in order to provide the satisfaction and satisfaction of the martyred leader of the revolution. Because many issues were left on the ground for years.

Morality and respect even in punishment

The mayor of Tehran continued by expressing a memory of Martyr Mousavi's management style: the movement of this martyr was at the peak of strength, power and accuracy, along with respect for the other party; Even if he wanted to punish someone, he did it with respect.

He explained: In one of the projects where we encountered problems during implementation, one of the relevant officials did not implement the order despite repeated warnings. I raised the issue in a meeting with Shahid Mousavi and said that the person who is your subordinate does not execute the order and what should we do.

Zakani added: He first sent a gift to that person and also sent my greetings. After that, he reduced his rank and explained that the gift was due to his love and respect, and the reduction in rank was due to non-implementation of the order. This behavior showed that even punishment can be accompanied by respect; So that the person realizes his mistake and others learn from it.

Emphasizing that Martyr Mousavi was particularly careful and serious in following up on understandings and responsibilities, he said: In all the understandings we had with this martyr, he reviewed the issues point by point and followed up on their implementation. Morality, piety and transparency were so prominent in his existence that no duality was felt between his personality and performance.

Determination to face enemies

Referring to his last joint meeting with Martyr Mousavi and a number of commanders who were martyred in the 12-day war, the mayor of Tehran said: In one of the meetings that was held in the Museum Garden, Sardar Bagheri, Sardar Salami, Martyr Mousavi and a number of other loved ones who were martyred later were present. In the next meeting, these loved ones were martyred and their memory was taken into consideration.

He continued: At the end of the meeting, I came to the joke of serving Martyr Mousavi, and he, as always, treated them with openness and sincerity. His emphasis was that our determination to destroy our enemies, America and the Zionist regime, is a dogma.

Stating that the works and characteristics of this martyr can still be seen in the performance of Iran's school army, Zakani said: Today, our school army stands proudly in its place following the example of great martyrs such as Sayad, Mousavi and other scholars of this path.

He added: Our enemies wanted to attack, but they faced the steel barrier of the army and the IRGC. They wanted to break the resilience of the people, but they were faced with the flow of servitude and they intended to hinder the progress and prosperity of the country, but the flow of construction and activity did not stop.

Referring to the activities of various groups in the path of building the country, from the private sector to other service groups, the mayor of Tehran stated: Today, the enemy is facing a clear message from these actions. The message is that the flow of service will not be stopped, nor will the country's construction and prosperity be stopped.

Keeping the memory of the martyrs alive is to continue their path

Pointing to the importance of naming projects after martyrs, Zakani said: Imam Mujahid our martyr said that keeping the memory of martyrs alive is not less than the principle of martyrdom. The martyr is alive and present, and we keep the memory and name of the martyrs alive in order to spread his culture in the society and relying on the fact that martyrdom does not fail.

He continued: We appeal to the name and memory of these martyrs; Not because they need us, but because we need them so that they are always present in our memory, to support them, to build ourselves based on their behavior model and to be active in the field of action.

Emphasizing that the martyrs should be considered as lasting and effective models in today's life, the mayor of Tehran said: Our message to the enemy is that we proudly continue the path of the martyrs and consider them to be effective in our day as well. From our point of view, Shahid is still present and we can take advantage of his existence and behavior to carry out effective measures. This is our belief and we are committed to the intercession of the martyrs.

He added: The martyr's message for the enemy is despair. Besides that, the services provided to the people and the measures related to construction and development show that we do not stop working even in the midst of war. These efforts become more important in the light of national cohesion and unity and obedience to the guardian and imam of the community.

Martyr Mousavi's love for leadership and sacrifice for the people

Zakani listed affection for leadership and obedience among other outstanding characteristics of Martyr Mousavi and stated: One of the important characteristics of this martyr was his affection for the leader and Imam Mujahid of our martyr and obedience to him. Also, the things that his beloved son said about the statements of Imam Mujahid Martyr about this Martyr, showed the importance of this special connection and belonging.

Referring to the link between obedience to the Commander-in-Chief and sacrifice for the people, he continued: this two-way communication and affection, along with sacrifice for the people, is one of the prominent features of this path. This is a reminder of the culture of Ashura and the sacrifice of martyrs of Karbala for Seyyed al-Shahda (peace be upon him). A path that we also follow with pride.

Completion of the highway in the west of Tehran

In another part of his speech, the mayor of Tehran, referring to the implementation process of the highway project in the west of the capital city, said: Parts 1 and 3 of this road have been opened, and about the second part, the technical and civil engineering friends have considered changes, which is worthy of thanks. With these changes, the required amount of release has decreased and has reached approximately one-fifth to one-sixth of the previous amount in order to enable the project to be implemented more quickly.

Referring to the follow-up of the implementation schedule of this part of the project, he added: I have asked about the time required for the second part to become operational, and we hope that this part will also be implemented by making the necessary releases.

While thanking Sardar Abid, Mr. Rostami and others involved in the project, Zakani said: This route will be extended in areas 21 and 22, and by connecting the path of Shahid Lashkari and crossing the paths related to Shahid Hamdani and Shahid Fahmideh, it will finally help to complete the northern ring of Tehran.

Emphasizing the importance of this project for the highway network west of Tehran, he said: the completion of this route will create an important opening for the west of the capital and will transfer a large part of the traffic load of Azadegan highway. As a result, we will witness a big event in the field of access and communication network of West Tehran.

Emphasis on continuing the path of service and construction

In the end, the mayor of Tehran paid tribute to the martyrs of the army, IRGC, Faraja and security guards of the country, as well as all those who are active in the way of serving the people, and said: We bow down with all our heart to the dear martyrs and all those who strive for service and merit in this country. Also, we bow before the Martyr Mujahid Imam who was introduced to the world community with martyrdom for eternity.

He expressed his hope that the path of service and construction will continue at a faster pace and added: We hope to be able to conquer the peaks of honor one after another and remove the shadow of threats, sanctions and war from the head of a strong Iran with authority.
