Screening of 'Gambler' in Tajikistan

The feature film Gambler, directed by Mohsen Bahari and produced by the Farabi Cinema Foundation, will be screened in Tajikistan on Iranian Cinema Day.

According to the Arya Heritage report, citing the public relations of Farabi Cinema Foundation, at the same time as the third edition of Taj Saman National Film Festival is held in Tajikistan, the movie "The Gambler" produced by Farabi Cinema Foundation, directed by Mohsen Behari and produced by Sajjad Nasrollahi Nasab, will be present at the "Iranian Cinema Day" of this event.

In each period of the "Taj Saman" national film festival, the screening of works from one or more countries is considered, and in this period, "Iranian Cinema Day" is held in line with the expansion of cultural and artistic interactions between the two countries.

The international distribution of the movie "The Gambler" is under the responsibility of the International Deputy of the Farabi Film Foundation, and Shabnam Ghorbani won the Best Actress Award at the "Aside the Lake" International Festival in North Macedonia and the Best Actress Award at the Shanghai Cooperation Organization Film Festival in Bishkek, Kyrgyzstan.

It is worth mentioning that in the second period of the national film festival "Taj Saman" last year, the film "Shahesawar" directed by Hossein Namazi was screened in the competition section of this festival.

Iranian Cinema Day will be held at the "Taj Saman" festival from 23 to 28 October 1405 (15 to 20 October 2026) in Dushanbe, Tajikistan.
