Fars Provincial Police Chief Reports Arrest of Man Who Strangled His 20-Year-Old Daughter Over Family Disputes

He added: The detectives started their investigation and with technical and specialized measures, they succeeded in identifying and arresting the killer who was hiding in a building and in a guard room.

The head of the Provincial Intelligence Police, pointing out that the 45-year-old murderer, who was a foreign national, cited family disputes as the motive for the murder, and said: The accused was sent to the courthouse for legal proceedings.

Arresting the perpetrators of participation in the hostage taking

The provincial police chief also announced: With the arrest of 2 people, the hostage was released and returned to his family.

Explaining the details of this news, Colonel Hafizi said: Following the report of a case of kidnapping on the 14th of August this year in one of the localities of Shiraz city, due to the sensitivity of the matter, a team of intelligence officers immediately intervened to investigate the matter.

He added: In the conducted investigations, it was found that the occupants of 2 unknown cars attempted to kidnap a 42-year-old man who was working in a fruit shop in one of the localities of Shiraz city, and quickly ran away from the place.

Colonel Hafizi continued: The detectives started their investigation and found out that the kidnappers live in one of the cities of Sistan and Baluchistan province.

The head of the Provincial Intelligence Police stated that the detectives were sent to Sistan and Baluchistan after obtaining judicial representation and succeeded in arresting 2 of the perpetrators who were involved in the hostage taking.

The head of the Provincial Intelligence Police, pointing out that the reason and motive for the kidnapping was account disputes, said: According to the obtained information, the investigation to arrest the accused continues seriously.

The police commander of Lamard city also said: the killer, while confessing to the murder of a 55-year-old woman, also confessed to another murder during the technical and specialized investigation of the police.

Colonel Hassan Amjadian said in this regard: Following the murder of a 55-year-old woman on the 24th of September this year in Lamard due to the theft of the victim's jewelry, the detectives succeeded in identifying and arresting the 48-year-old murderer with technical measures and also discovered about 25 grams of stolen jewelry.

He added: After carrying out a technical and specialized interrogation and using special police methods, the available evidence was examined and during the supplementary investigation, the 48-year-old killer confessed that he killed a 65-year-old woman in August 1404 and stole and sold 60 grams of her jewelry.

Pointing to the importance of specialized investigations in the detection of criminal crimes, the police chief of Lamard city said: Investigating various aspects of the case and related legal measures are on the agenda of the police.
