Rightel will activate 5G in the next month; Read the details of this operator's program to provide fifth generation internet.

Mehdi Faqihi, the CEO of Rightel, explained the new plans of this operator in the field of network development, entering the industrial services market, using the 5G frequency capacity and the status of the company's share transfer in a press conference with the media. According to him, in the new period of its activity, Raitel seeks to distance itself from direct competition with the country's major operators and focus more on providing specialized services to industries and businesses.

Faqihi stated that the three main axes of Rightel's transformation program are improving customer experience and network quality, changing the field of competition, and reforming the company's economic model. Referring to the limited resources and economic conditions of the communication industry, he explained that the development of infrastructure alone cannot create a sustainable competitive advantage, and the joint use of existing capacities and the provision of innovative services are also very important.

The activation time of Rytel 5G Internet has been determined

One of the most important issues raised in this meeting was the program of Rightel to launch the fifth generation mobile Internet services. The CEO of this operator announced that Rightel plans to use its 5G frequency capacity in the two areas of public subscribers and industries.

According to Faqihi, the activation of these services for public subscribers depends on the finalization of the cooperation agreement with the operator of the contracting party and the start of its implementation. He expressed hope that with the implementation of this agreement, 5G services of Rightel will be available to subscribers in less than a month.

To achieve this goal, WRITE follows the use of infrastructure and network resource sharing patterns, including MOCN mechanisms and radio access network sharing. These methods can enable more effective use of equipment and communication capacities by reducing the need for repeated investments.

In this meeting, questions were also raised about Rightel's investment in the fifth generation frequency. Referring to the payment of about 14 thousand billion tomans to achieve this frequency last year, Faqihi explained that the financing of this investment was done through facilities and other sources and its payment was not solely based on foreign exchange sources.

Change of Wright's strategy; Focus on industry and smart government

Pointing to the distance between this operator and Irancell in terms of market position, the CEO of Raitel said that Raitel does not want to be just a smaller version of its two competitors. According to him, this company plans to follow a different path in the communication industry by focusing on specialized areas.

According to the announced plan, by 1410, Raitel wants to get about half of its revenue from providing services to businesses, industries and smart government, and the other half of its revenue will continue to be provided by services to general subscribers.

Faqihi also pointed to the late entry of this operator into the market and the developments of the first years of its operation. He explained that the change of direction of the communication industry from the third generation to the fourth generation, at the same time as the conditions faced by Rightel, affected the growth process of this company.

Steel and petrochemical in priority for industrial projects

Within the framework of its new strategy, Raitel pursues the development of cooperation with large industries, especially the steel and petrochemical sectors. The CEO of this company announced the definition of several industrial projects and said that some of these plans have passed the trial stages; However, the implementation of some of them depends on network security approvals.

According to Faqihi, the memorandum of understanding for the implementation of the 5G project was signed with Foulad Mobarakeh about a month and a half ago, and this project is in the stage of designing the network infrastructure. Cooperation with Hormozgan Steel is also underway with the aim of developing a road map for digital transformation and development of communication infrastructure.

In addition, joint projects with Fanavaran Petrochemical and Abik Cement have started and are in the design stage. Rytel has announced that it will publish more information about the implementation process as these plans progress.

Special packages for knowledge-based companies and people with disabilities

The CEO of Raitel also announced plans to provide preferential packages to knowledge-based companies. This plan is followed in collaboration with the Innovation and Prosperity Fund, and in addition to the Internet, it also includes corporate services such as APN and MVPN. These services are supposed to be provided with preferential tariffs. According to Faqihi, Raitel also plans to offer special packages for people with disabilities, and the details will be announced in the future during an event.

In another part of his speech, referring to the importance of international cooperation in the field of technology and digital transformation, he said that restrictions caused by sanctions have reduced the scope of interaction with the world's major technology companies. However, negotiations and meetings have been held to develop cooperation with companies active in the field of infrastructure and digital transformation.

Rightel clarifies the calculation of internet volume

Another focus of the press conference was the objection of some users to the rapid reduction in the volume of Internet packages. In response to a question about how to calculate internet consumption, Faqihi stated that Rightel is ready to explain the mechanism and formula for calculating consumption volume for the media.

He considered the unrealistic deduction of the volume of Internet packages as a serious violation and emphasized that providing high-quality services to subscribers is one of the main goals of the company. At the same time, the CEO of Rightel said about the origin of the recent Internet disturbances that the follow-up of this issue should be done by the infrastructure communication company.

Shasta is responsible for determining the assignment of Rightel shares

In the continuation of the meeting, Faqihi addressed the issue of the transfer of Rightel shares and said that Shasta and the competent authorities are responsible for making decisions about this process. According to him, the entry of a strategic shareholder with financial strength, professional expertise and development plan can help the company grow faster.

He emphasized that the executive management of Rightel, regardless of the transfer status, is obliged to continue the development plans of the company. However, if a new shareholder enters, it will be possible to change or modify the company's strategies based on the priorities of the new owner.

He refused to comment on the final value of the shares or potential buyers and said that it is important to check the financial and executive qualifications of the applicants and comply with the criteria set in this process.

Faqihi also announced that the Fara company will be separated from the Rightel group before the handover, and this operator will not be included in the handover process. According to him, Rightel's development plan will continue until the divestiture status is determined, and any possible changes in the future direction of the company will depend on the decisions of the new shareholder.
