Patience and protection of unity is a strategy to overcome the crisis and preserve social capital

The advisor to the Minister of Cultural Heritage, in a note emphasizing the need for responsible patience, maintaining national unity and strengthening public trust, considered overcoming the crisis dependent on empathy, accountability and protection of the country's social capital.

Guest note - Seyyed Abbas Mostafavi, Advisor to the Minister of Cultural Heritage: Crises do not only test the will of nations; They show how much they are ready to keep what they have. Patience is the power to overcome the crisis and protection is the responsibility of maintaining the achievements in the middle and after.

Martyr Ayatollah Seyed Ali Khamenei has linked the experience of holy defense, protection of the country and deterrence against enemy threats with resistance. This view has a strategic meaning even today; Because overcoming the pressures does not only require standing, but also requires intelligent care of the funds that the survival of the country and the quality of life of the people depend on.

But how do patience and care find meaning in our lives today? Patience means not to make hasty decisions in the face of difficulties, not to lose hope and not to stop trying to solve problems. Protection means to be careful at the same time that public trust, national interests, cultural identity and opportunities of the young generation are not harmed in this way. To put it more clearly, patience without action becomes an exhausting tolerance, and protection without planning becomes an ineffective slogan.

In a situation where economic pressures, social concerns and regional developments have cast a shadow on people's lives, social patience cannot be reduced to simply inviting people to endure problems. Responsible patience is meaningful with sincere hope, accountability and concrete effort to solve problems; Just like protecting social capital, it requires strengthening public trust, correcting deficiencies and responsible decision-making.

The practical connection of these two concepts is summarized in one principle: in the face of crisis, be patient to pass and on the way to pass, take care of what is necessary for the future. If maintaining an achievement requires modification of methods, it should be modified; If public trust has been damaged, it must be repaired; And if the difficulties persist, patience should not be used as a substitute for problem solving.

This necessity, in the current sensitive and dangerous situation of the country, has double importance; A situation that intelligently overcomes, in addition to resourcefulness and stability, requires unity, empathy and maintaining national cohesion. Ayatollah Siddimjatbi Khamenei, the new leader of the Islamic Revolution, emphasized in his message on July 26, 1405: "Protecting unity and avoiding division and conflict, political differences and highlighting social differences is the duty of everyone." He also considered the unity of the word and unity among the people and officials as the basic principles of this period.

This emphasis places a clear responsibility on everyone: disagreements should not lead to social disruption; Criticism and demands should remain on the path of reform, and officials should help strengthen people's trust by being responsive, resourceful and effective. Unity does not mean thinking alike or ignoring problems; Rather, it is the ability to maintain solidarity despite differences in views and putting national interests first over erosive conflicts.

Patience takes us through the turbulence of the crisis; The preservation of unity preserves the ability to pass, and empathy unites the two into a force for building the future. Today, success is not only about overcoming difficulties; It is to come out of this critical moment with a more secure social capital, a stronger public trust and a collective will to build the future. This is the common responsibility that takes patience beyond mere tolerance and protection beyond an ineffective slogan and turns it into a strategy for the country's sustainability and progress.
