Save $900 on the new 2026 Hisense UR8 RGB Mini-LED 65-inch TV, one of the best TVs you can get for gaming.
The new 2026 RGB Mini-LED technology has richer colors, brighter images and wider viewing angles than ever before.
Last year, Hisense pioneered the first RGB Mini-LED TV with its 116UX model. Of course, it was only available as a massive 116-inch display for $20,000. In 2026, Hisense launched the second generation of its RGB Mini-LED technology at a much more affordable price point with its UR series lineup. Before Black Friday, you can get it for even less. Best Buy just discounted the Hisense RGB55 TV. $2,000 to $1,099.99 with free shipping.
The Hisense UR8 RGB Mini LED TV gives OLED a run for its money
RGB Mini-LED is essentially the evolution of the next generation of Mini-LED technology. Traditional mini LED TVs consist of an array of blue LEDs that pass through RGB filters to produce the desired color. RGB Mini-LED TVs use red, green and blue LEDs instead of blue, which means the pixels no longer need to be filtered to produce the desired color. The result is more accurate color reproduction, less blooming, and most importantly, a wider color gamut. In fact, RGB Mini-LED's color gamut surpasses that of OLEDs, as current generation OLEDs also use color filters combined with blue OLEDs. How does that translate in the real world? This means you'll see richer, more accurate colors, smoother gradients and less banding than even OLEDs, especially in 4K HDR content.
RGB Mini-LED TVs have several other features that go beyond the standard mini-LED category. They're brighter (much brighter than OLED TVs), which makes them great for daytime viewing in dimly lit rooms. Gamers will also benefit from this TV. The Hisense UR8 has a 180Hz refresh rate, the highest I've ever seen for a TV, with HDMI 2.1 inputs that pair seamlessly with the PlayStation 5 console for seamless 4K gaming.
