Dashti Governor: Elite and Women's Capacities Should Be Used to Manage Energy Consumption

Bushehr – Dashti Governor stressed the need to harness the capacities of elites and women to manage energy consumption.

According to Mehr reporter, Reza Moqatali stressed the necessity of using the capacity of women, universities and education to promote the culture of energy consumption management in the meeting of the review of energy consumption management mechanisms, which was held in the presence of managers of executive bodies, women's affairs advisors and elites of the city.

Pointing to the importance of energy consumption management in the current situation, he said: To achieve the goals of energy consumption management, we must use all the capacities in the city and with targeted planning, provide the basis for the participation of different sections of the society in this field.

Emphasizing the effective role of women in the family and society, Governor Dashti added: Women can play an important role in reforming the consumption pattern and institutionalizing the culture of saving, and it is necessary to use their ideas, initiatives and creativity in the field of energy management in an operational manner.

Stating that energy consumption management requires the cooperation and participation of all sectors, Moghatili clarified: the capacity of universities, scientific and educational centers should be used in this field in order to spread the correct culture of energy consumption in the society by providing scientific and educational solutions.

He demanded the presentation of executive programs and solutions by the related institutions and stated: Executive institutions should provide practical and applicable proposals for energy consumption management in accordance with their field of activity and plan their actions in such a way that the results can be seen at the community level.

Governor Dashti also emphasized the necessity of forming a network of managers and advisors of women's affairs in the city with the presence of managers of executive bodies and said: The creation of this network can provide a basis for exchanging experiences, identifying capacities and presenting innovative ideas, and lead to greater coordination between the bodies in the implementation of energy consumption management programs.

Emphasizing on the continuity of these meetings, Moghatili noted that specialized meetings should be held regularly and while reviewing the proposals and programs presented, the process of implementing the approvals should also be followed up in order to use the capacity of women and elites in various fields, especially energy consumption management, in the best way.
