Jameh Tehran Children and Teen Theater Festival in Hamadan Should Be Held at an International Level

In a meeting with Marzieh Boroumand, secretary of the Children and Teen Theater Festival, with the governor of Hamadan: One and a half months remain until the festival begins, and the expectation is that, at least in Hamadan Province, everyone should be informed about the holding of this major cultural event.

According to Hamedan province's Ambassador of Arjan, Hamid Melanuri Shamsi, in the policy-making session of the 60th International Festival of Theater for Children and Adolescents, referring to the importance of this cultural event, he said: Everyone should be careful that we don't want to hold a festival only for the children of Hamedan to come to the hall, see the theater and be done with it, we are going to hold an international festival, so it must be on an international level.

He added: The people of Hamedan, the people of the province, the people of the country and the international community should somehow be informed about the holding of this festival in Iran and in Hamedan, in the current situation where the country is facing threats, sanctions, war and trouble, the name of Iran should be on the tongue everywhere, where there is vitality, presence, joy and life, it should be brought up.

Hamadan governor added: It should not be thought that there is a war and people are isolated, when an international festival is held, the world should understand that Iran is doing its job, there are people, they are participating, life is going on and the society is active.

Melanuri Shamsi further suggested that the opening and closing of the festival be held in coordination with the centers of all the provinces of the country.

According to this proposal, in a suitable hall in the center of each province, children, teenagers and officials will gather, parts such as the message of the president, the speech of the minister and the secretary of the festival will be broadcast in the form of a webinar, and the provincial groups will also present their performances so that the whole country will be informed about the holding of this event in Hamedan.

He asked the festival officials to follow up on this proposal and added: The governorates will also correspond and help to coordinate with other provinces.

Referring to the duties of the institutions, Hamadan governor said: part of the budget and appropriations discussion was raised in the previous meetings of the city council, municipality and management organization, and a smaller meeting will be held to finalize it.

He reminded: the duties of the agencies in the fields of traffic, security, human power, electricity, water, gas, sports and youth, cultural heritage, municipality, space planning, advertising, employees and the art field are specified and communicated and everyone must come to work.

Melanuri Shamsi pointed out that there is only one and a half months left until the beginning of the festival, and said: the expectation is that at least in the province, everyone will be informed about the holding of this great cultural event; Streets, squares, cities, villages and towns get involved and its positive results and consequences reach people's lives.

At the end of the meeting with Marzieh Broumand, he appreciated the presence of officials and those involved and expressed hope for the successful holding of this international festival.
