Netanyahu threatened Jolani in a phone call

Israeli media "i24NEWS" announced: a conversation was held on July 16, 2025 (25 July 1404) between Netanyahu and al-Shar'a (Abu Mohammad Al-Jolani), in which Netanyahu demanded the withdrawal of Syrian forces from Sweida province.

According to this Israeli media, Netanyahu said to Al-Sharia, "I want to be brief"; It seems that the message transmitted through the intermediaries did not reach as it should.

i24NEWS stated: Netanyahu told Al-Shara that a genocide against the Druze is taking place and that the Syrian forces must leave Sweida by ten o'clock at night, and Al-Sharra replied: "I was hoping that these talks would proceed in a different way."
