Pavard is absent for 20 days/Completion of the injured squad: Inter's defender was added!

Benjamin Pavard will be out of action for at least 20 days due to injury.

Inter club confirmed in a statement that Pavard suffered a strained adductor muscle in his right leg after visiting a medical center in Milan on Thursday morning. Initial reports indicate that the French defender will be out of action for about 20 days.

As such, he will miss the upcoming Serie A matches against Bologna, Fiorentina and Venezia and is unlikely to feature in the derby della Madonnina against Milan at the end of the month. The last few days have been very frustrating for Christian Kivu and his students. Inter lost 3-4 at home to Club Brugge in the Champions League on Tuesday night and are still without a point after two matches in the competition.

Lautaro Martinez, the captain and key player of Inter, also suffered a hamstring injury during the defeat against Club Brugge and is now facing a few weeks away from the field. Jones, Inter's summer signing, is also out with a thigh injury and will be sidelined for the next few weeks.

Stones has also been out since suffering a hamstring injury in his first official game for the club in September, adding to their long injury list full of key stars.
