Ukraine targeted the Russian UFO with its air defense fire to close the case of one of the strangest flying weapons of Putin's army on earth.
On October 8, 2026 (October 16), the armed forces of Ukraine managed to intercept an aggressive bird whose circular structure and ringed wings were reminiscent of unknown bird bodies at first glance. The troops of the 414th Brigade of Magyar Brigade (Birds of Magyar Brigade) realized that this unusual structure is actually a new attack drone belonging to the Russian army.
The target bird is the Knyaz Vladimir Svyatoslavich model, or KVS for short, designed by the Ushkuynik Research Center. Unlike conventional wings on airplanes, this attack bird has a continuous annular wing that surrounds the main body. The operators of the Ukrainian army, seeing this strange geometric form, wrote:
What else was that? It was probably a flying saucer! Yehu appeared out of nowhere… oh wait, it actually fell!
The circular structure of this bird is on a 10-inch body and is designed for medium-range flights. This aerodynamic form provides the possibility of vertical takeoff and smooth transition to horizontal flight with more efficient energy consumption, so that, unlike conventional multirotors, it moves with the help of aerodynamic forces when moving through the air.

The X-BAT unmanned aerial vehicle with vertical takeoff and landing capability does not require a runway or an aircraft carrier
The newly unveiled Russian Molniya-13 drone was shot down by Ukrainian forces

Oshkonik Research Center is also the manufacturer of other equipment, including the Knyaz Veshchiy Oleg identification model. According to Ukrainian intelligence data in April, the Oleg reconnaissance model flies up to a range of 45 km, has a flight duration of 3.5 hours and reaches a maximum speed of 130 km/h.
Ukrainian forces had previously managed to destroy Oleg reconnaissance models on February 18 through the Dnipro-1 regiment and in January 2026 with the operation of the 225th assault regiment separately.
