A Show Directed by the Old Fox
In a completely baseless move, 29 countries, including Britain and the US, issued a hostile statement against Iran without presenting a single document, endorsing London's claims about Iran's involvement in the Fairford base incident.
According to Ambassador Arjan's report, Jam Jam newspaper wrote: In a completely baseless and propaganda action, 29 countries, including England and the United States, without providing a single valid document or document, by issuing a hostile statement against the Islamic Republic of Iran, confirmed London's claims about the possibility of Iran's involvement in the Fairford base incident. These countries, which themselves have a long history of military interventions, terror and aggressive actions against the Iranian nation, once again tried to mislead the public opinion by fomenting Iranophobia. The Embassy of the Islamic Republic of Iran in London categorically rejected and condemned these biased speculations and emphasized that such fabricated narratives, especially after the criminal attacks of the United States and the Zionist regime, are made only for the purpose of black propaganda against Iran. The British Prime Minister and Foreign Minister also accused the Revolutionary Guards without providing evidence, summoned the ambassador of our country and sanctioned two Iranian citizens. These behaviors are a continuation of the double standards of the West, which are the cause of global insecurity, but blame Tehran. The Islamic Republic of Iran reserves the right to take legal measures to protect national interests and rejects any baseless accusation.
London's new accusation against the Revolutionary Guards
British Prime Minister Andy Burnham, in baseless statements and while the investigation of the case is still ongoing, claimed that the suspicious plan to target the Royal Air Force's Fairford air base was probably coordinated in Iran and was under the guidance of the Revolutionary Guards. Burnham told parliament on Monday that London would not tolerate potential threats against its soil and that he would counter what he called Iran's use of criminal networks. He also spoke about the possibility of imposing new sanctions aimed at limiting the ability of Iran and the IRGC to harm Britain. These claims were made following an incident that occurred on the morning of September 27 (October 5) near the Fairford Air Base. During the investigation of this case, five British men were arrested on suspicion of involvement in terrorist acts and explosives crimes.
These people were finally released without any formal charges and only on police bail to continue the legal investigation. Making such unproven claims by high-ranking British officials, at the same time as the current process of police investigations, further indicates hasty security with sinister goals against Tehran. The British Prime Minister's claim is a piece of a deliberate puzzle in the "Securitization" project against the Islamic Republic of Iran. In the knowledge of international relations and security, securitization means turning a "normal or defense issue" into an "existential threat to the whole world"; A process through which the Western Front misleads public opinion and international institutions.
Propaganda operations of White House allies
In line with the British Prime Minister's statements, the United States, the United Kingdom and 27 Western allies immediately repeated London's false accusations and baseless claims about the Fairford Air Base incident in a completely coordinated and scenario-oriented action. This onslaught of propaganda, based solely on Burnham's vague "most likely" phrase, comes without any legal documentation or proof. The main purpose of these customized statements is to complete the chain of psychological pressure and create a poisoned media environment against the Islamic Republic of Iran in the international arena.
Complementing this statement and following the decisive reaction of the Islamic Republic of Iran to the recent military aggressions of the United States and the Zionist regime and the imposition of restrictions on the passage through the sensitive straits of the region, 60 Western countries and their allies in a joint statement took the stance of defending "freedom of navigation". Ignoring the main root of the crisis, which was caused by the aggressors' misuse of the air and water space of some neighboring countries, this Western-Eastern front has arrogantly demanded the cancellation of Iran's transit restrictions in the Strait of Hormuz. Undoubtedly, the security of these vital international highways will be realized only in the shadow of respecting Iran's territorial integrity and ending the interventionist policies of the West.
Iran, with full intelligence and decisiveness, has considered these fake claims as part of a sinister and arrogant conspiracy to cover up its failures and malicious aggressions, and has strongly condemned it. The diplomatic apparatus of our country emphasizes that the Western Front cannot avoid responsibility for its hostile actions by relying on ridiculous scenarios. While denying any involvement in these alleged incidents, relying on local power, Islamic Iran will always remain based on its defense authority and maintaining its national security.
Apart from the Fairford issue, a series of scenarios against Tehran were put on the agenda during the last seven months. After failing to attract international support for unilateral military actions, the American diplomatic apparatus and its Western allies have focused their strategy on the all-round security of Iran's case. Issuing the resolution of the Council of Governors and referring the security issue to the Security Council, the undocumented attribution of accusations in incidents such as the Fly Dubai flight, and the linking of the advances of the Yemeni resistance to Tehran are the links of a single scenario. Rather than relying on technical findings or legal evidence, these measures are considered to be political tools for global consensus and legitimization of the aggressive Western-Zionist behavior.
In the meantime, Western institutions are trying to show Iran as "untrustworthy" and a cause of instability by ignoring the main root of the crisis, i.e. the damage done to the verification structure following the military attacks of America and Israel. The goal of Washington and Tel Aviv in these successive cases is to build a new narrative framework to justify the economic pressure, naval blockade and lay the groundwork for future aggressions, especially on the eve or after the mid-term elections of the United States of America. In contrast to this propaganda campaign, the decisive positions of Beijing and Moscow in the Security Council and the emphasis on the baseless nature of these narratives as well as the resolutions will seriously hinder the implementation of sanctions or resolutions in addition to malicious scenarios against our country, and the withdrawal from the security project of Iran will depend on the continued exposure of the false narratives of the enemy.
