According to Ambassador Arjan, in order to preserve the environment and reduce fossil fuels and diversify the energy production portfolio, renewable energies are supposed to replace fossil energy.

Also, according to the order of the president, government offices must supply at least 20% of their electricity needs from solar energy.

In this context, Mohsen Tazertalab, Deputy Minister of Energy and Head of Iran's New Energy and Electricity Efficiency Organization, Satba, in a conversation with economic reporter Ambassador Arjan, referring to the memorandum of understanding that was recently signed between this organization and the Deputy Minister of Human Resources of the Ministry of Economy, said: In line with the obligations of the Ministry of Economic Affairs and Finance, we decided to issue the necessary permits to build rooftop solar power plants under the Ministry of Economy's complexes and also in two other buildings in the east of the country.

He said: It was agreed that the friends of the Ministry of Economy will introduce us the suitable places for installing solar panels and we will also give permission, in the field of financing, banks will also provide facilities, and the supply of equipment will be done with the cooperation of the two groups.

The obligations of Article 5, which is related to the Ministry of Economic Affairs and Finance, should be implemented from the place of the memorandum for this year and next year.

Regarding the amount of solar energy expected from the site of this memorandum, the head of Satba said: a maximum of 100 megawatts is expected, and the friends of the Ministry of Economy will introduce us to suitable places for the construction of the power plant, and we will also give permission, and financing will be provided by banks, and the friends will do the assignment and executive work themselves.
