Issuing an indictment for 10 tax employees in Mashhad

Mashhad - Khorasan Razavi Prosecutor's Office issued an indictment against 10 employees of the Mashhad Tax Affairs Department.

According to the report of Ambassador Arjan Hassan Hemtifar, he stated: Indictment was issued for 10 employees of the Tax Affairs Department in a case related to financial and economic charges, including receiving bribes, acquiring wealth through illegal means and embezzlement.

The prosecutor of the center of Khorasan Razavi province added: This case has been investigated following the review of reports and documents collected by the Economic Security Police, the IRGC Intelligence Organization and the General Administration of Tax Affairs of Khorasan Razavi province.

He clarified: among the axes raised in the investigation, the investigation of the receipt of funds, financial and banking documents, and actions attributed to some persons in connection with tax processes. The accusations raised in the indictment, including receiving bribes, acquiring property through illegal means and embezzlement, will be examined in the framework of the judicial investigation of the case.

Suspension of 10 employees from service

Hemti Far stated: In connection with this case, 10 employees of the Tax Affairs Department, who have been indicted, have been suspended from service.

Khorasan provincial capital prosecutor Razavi added: After completing the preliminary investigation and issuing the indictment, the case will be sent to the competent judicial authority to deal with the imputed charges and review the documents, and the final decision on the criminal responsibility of the individuals will be made within the framework of the law.

He pointed out that dealing with economic and financial crimes is of special importance in order to protect public rights and protect the legal revenues of the government.
