Reduction of intra-city traffic, reduction of transit travel time, removal of one of the blind spots and traffic nodes at the east entrance of Tabriz, saving fuel consumption and increasing travel safety in one of the most accident-prone entrances of east Tabriz are mentioned as other benefits.

This bridge also smooths the traffic towards the northeastern cities of the province, including Ahar, Haris, Kalibar and Warzghan.
