Jabbari's Players Put in Extra Work on Day Off
Mojtaba Jabbari has set up a schedule for his team similar to Persian Gulf Pro League sides, and just 24 hours after beating Saipa, sent the Qeshm Island side back onto the pitch.
According to sports reports, the three teams of Qeshm Island, after winning yesterday against the leader Saipa and rising to the third place in the table, today faced Omid Naft in a friendly match. Qeshm Island visited Saipa yesterday in a situation where Ebrahim Sadeghi's students had accumulated 9 points from the last four games and were at the top of the table. But in the end, Jabari's students won with Seyed Ali Yahyazadeh's single goal, which was achieved thanks to Amin Ghaseminejad's brilliance.
But today's match of Qeshmi was held at Tehransar Naft Stadium, and Mojtaba Jabari gave rest to the main players of Qeshm Island in the previous day's match and gave the younger players and those on the bench a chance to play. This match ended in a goalless draw after 90 minutes of effort. Qeshm Island, which has two wins and three draws in the last five games in the Azadegan League, will host Mes Kerman next week.
The interesting thing is that the leadership of the Omid Naft team, which is in the first division of the Tehran League, is under the responsibility of Arash Labjooi, who was a media colleague and sports journalist in the not-so-distant years. Before Naft, Labjooi was also present in Omid Pikan and Omid Esteghlal teams.
