Poor Pitch at Foolad Arena: Biggest Source of Player Discontent at Foolad (Photo)

Foolad's technical staff and players are dissatisfied with the condition of the Foolad Arena pitch.

According to "Varzeh Se", Foulad has performed well in its home matches this season and has been ranked among the top teams in the table with eight points from four matches. Interestingly, since the appointment of Hamid Motahari as the new head coach of Folad, this team has not been defeated in home matches and Folad's performance in Ahvaz has been good. However, the condition of the grass of Foulad Arena has suffered a noticeable decline in recent months and has led to the dissatisfaction of the technical staff and players.

These pictures show that almost in most parts of the field of this stadium, we see low and high, and of course yellowness and inappropriate grass placement. Due to this reason, Foulad has had problems to provide ground football and perform its tactical tasks, and Hamid Motahari has requested from the board of directors of the club to improve the condition of the grass in home matches. Also, not long ago, there were significant rumors regarding the holding of matches of Foulad B team in this stadium. Due to the deterioration of the quality of the grass, the technical staff of Foulad requested the board of directors that at least the matches of other teams should not be played in this stadium and the situation should not worsen from the current situation.

However, there has been dissatisfaction especially among Foolad players and they think that if the condition of the grass improves, they can present a better performance. Foulad will host Nasaji in Ahvaz next week, and it is unlikely that there will be any change in this situation until that match.
