Families of Prisoners in Qom Receive 78 Billion Rials in Welfare Packages

QOM – The head of the Prisons Organization, during a visit to the Qom Correction and Rehabilitation Center, announced the distribution of 1,300 welfare packages worth a total of 78 billion rials to needy families of inmates, and the release of two inmates.

Qom- The head of the Prisons Organization, during his visit to the Qom Correctional Center, announced the distribution of 1,300 livelihood packages worth a total of 78 billion Rials among the families of needy clients and the release of two clients.

According to Mehr reporter, Haider Asiyabi, the head of the prisons organization, visited the correctional center of Qom on Wednesday afternoon while attending the correctional center of the province.

In this visit, Hojjat-ul-Islam wal-Muslimeen Seyyed Kazem Mousavi, Chief Justice of Qom Province, Ali Asghar Soltani, Public Prosecutor and Revolution of Qom, and Hojjat-ul-Islam wal-Muslimeen Hossein Fanadi, Director General of Prisons of the province, were also present and they visited different departments of the center together with the head of the Prisons Organization.

One of the results of this visit was the release of two people from the correctional center of Qom.

The judicial officials present in this program also visited the place of residence of the clients and while talking with the clients, they were informed about their situation and conditions.

Distribution of 1,300 livelihood packages among families

In another part of this program, Qom Province Prisoners' Support Association distributed 1,300 livelihood packages among these families with the aim of supporting families in need of help.

The value of each of these packages is 6 million Tomans, according to which, the total value of the livelihood aid distributed reaches 7.8 billion Tomans, equivalent to 78 billion Rials.

This action was carried out with the efforts of Qom Province Prisoners' Support Association and families in need of helpers were eligible to receive these support packages.

The head of the prisons organization and judicial officials of Qom province, in continuation of their presence at the correction and education center, also visited the Quranic meeting of the patients and were involved in the holding of this program.
