VAR request for the most important game of League One

For the number of times in the first division league, the request to use a video assistant referee has been raised.

According to "Varzesh Se", VR technology has been added to Iranian football for several years, and in the meantime, the Men's Premier League has taken the largest share in its use. Even this year, with the addition of several Vanvar devices, arrangements have been made to use VR in all games, even in stadiums that do not have the conditions to install this equipment.

Even today, the video assistant referee has been used for the first time in the women's premier league, and the derby of Kerman province between Khatun Bam and Gol Gohar Sirjan teams has been held under different conditions than usual, but the point is that the serious request of the league has remained unheeded.

In all these years, VAR's League One contribution has only been the last two weeks and some crucial games of the promotion course and the battle for survival. Even in the past season, due to the increase in important games in the final weeks, the federation preferred not to enter the video assistant referee in the first division league due to the limitation of League One stadiums and the limitation of portable VAR equipment, in order to do justice in all matches.

Now, in the new season, some clubs are asking for VAR to enter from the very beginning of the season. The latest case is related to the ground force team, which is going to meet Mes this week in Rafsanjan. Amir Abhari, the head coach of the ground force, has already said that the Rafsanjan stadium has the infrastructure of the league and there is no excuse for not using VAR in it, and he has a serious demand for this issue to be implemented.

Although this request is currently unanswered and it is unlikely that it will be taken into account, it should not be forgotten that in recent weeks, some serious and effective refereeing mistakes have caused them to be banned, and it is definitely necessary to prevent the possible repetition of such mistakes.
