Kermanshah - The police commander of Kermanshah province, pointing to the 14-step improvement of the sense of security in the province, emphasized the continued presence of the police in the field and the protection of peace and people's rights.

According to Mehr reporter, on Tuesday afternoon, Serdar Mehdi Hajian, the police commander of Kermanshah province, at the ceremony of honoring and introducing the police commander of Kermanshah city, expressed his appreciation for the efforts of the police officers: the sacrifice of the forces who were present in the field at critical times to maintain the security of the society will remain in the historical memory of the country and future generations will remember these efforts well.

Referring to the performance of the police forces during the imposed 12-day war, he added: the enemy, using its military, political and propaganda capacities, tried to discourage the people towards the system and the revolution by creating crisis, unrest and disturbance and affecting the stability of the country.

The police commander of Kermanshah province considered security to be one of the basic needs of the society and said: As a law enforcement officer, the police have the responsibility to protect the lives, property and rights of citizens by being effective in the field and stand against criminal and law-breaking actions with authority.

Emphasizing the link between security and justice, Hajian pointed out: establishing peace and stability provides the basis for the correct implementation of the law, the realization of people's rights, and the progress of society. According to him, even in difficult situations, relying on responsibility and self-sacrifice, police officers have not allowed threats to prevent them from performing their duties.

Referring to the attacks on police headquarters, he continued: Even when some headquarters were attacked and bombed, the police forces did not leave the square and continued to serve. He also cited the establishment of service desks in parks and on the side of the streets in those conditions as an example of the continuity of police services to the people.

The police chief of Kermanshah province, referring to the 14-step improvement of the sense of security in the province, considered this achievement to be the result of the efforts of the police forces and the people's support, and emphasized that the police are decisive in dealing with criminals and lawbreakers, but they have a humble and servile approach in dealing with citizens.

In another part of his speech, Hajian appreciated the performance of Colonel Mohammad Reza Yari, the former police chief of Kermanshah city, and stated that he has taken effective measures to improve the security of the city and reduce crimes by managing and using cultural and social capacities. He also congratulated Yari on his retirement and wished him success.

Referring to the introduction of Colonel Haider Haqjovian as the new police commander of Kermanshah city, he expressed hope that he will take effective steps to strengthen the security and peace of the city by relying on his experience in various police areas and using the available capacities.

At the end of this ceremony, in addition to recognizing the services of Colonel Mohammad Reza Yari, Colonel Haider Haqjovian was introduced as the new police chief of Kermanshah.
