Emphasizing the capacity of creative industries in creating added value and employment, the deputy coordinator of economic affairs of Isfahan governorate said: holding the national event of Manvin creative industries is an opportunity to introduce the prominent producers and artists of the country and move Isfahan towards an event-based economy.
According to the report of Ambassador Arjan from Isfahan, Korosh Khosravi, in a conversation with Ambassador Arjan regarding the holding of the national event of creative industries "Manvin", referring to the importance of creative industries, stated: For about two decades, there has been talk about the importance of creative industries, the cleanliness of these industries, their high added value and their capacity to create employment. However, until the 14th government, a specific institution had not taken the responsibility of this area seriously.
He added: In the 14th government, the vice president for science, technology and knowledge-based economy followed up the responsibility of this area and with the start of executive programs, the ground for holding the national event of Manvin creative industries has been prepared.
Khosravi stated that Manvin is an opportunity to introduce the abilities of artists and creative industries activists in the country, and continued: "Maybe for some people, this event is an opportunity to see the most prominent and outstanding artists and producers of creative industries in one place; But for artists and activists in this field, especially in Isfahan, a rare opportunity has been provided to get to know the works, products and capacities of the country's most important producers in three days.
The Deputy Coordinator of Economic Affairs of Isfahan Governorate expressed his hope that Manvin will continue to be hosted in Isfahan and that this city will become the main base for the introduction, growth and commercialization of the country's creative industries.
Isfahan's move towards an event-based economy
In another part of his speech, Khosravi mentioned the increase in the number of national and specialized events in Isfahan and said: holding a series of festivals, exhibitions and specialized events in recent weeks is a sign of the province's move towards an event-based economy.
Referring to Isfahan's hosting of the closing of the children's and youth film festival and the holding of other events such as BusinessOne and the Steel Symposium, he said: In the past, we were even faced with the issue that the organizers of some specialized events, despite being from Isfahan, held their programs in cities such as Kish; But now conditions are forming that these events will return to Isfahan.
The Deputy Coordinator of Economic Affairs of Isfahan Governorate emphasized: The continuation of this trend can help to increase the travel of tourists and economic activists to the province, the prosperity of related businesses and the strengthening of Isfahan's position as a destination for national and specialized events.
