Eric Church spills Eli Manning's embarrassing fishing secret while on the water with Randy Moss.
Eric Church claims that Eli Manning was too scared to hold a large bass and revealed the story to Randy Moss at his fishing property in Nashville.

Eli Manning spent 16 seasons staring down some of the NFL's most feared defensive players. But large mouth bass is apparently where he draws the line.
At least, that's what Eric Church would have you believe.
The country music superstar recently welcomed Pro Football Hall of Famer Randy Moss to his private fishing estate outside of Nashville for an episode of Moss' YouTube series, "The Chase 10." And somewhere between catching bass and swapping stories, Church decided to have a little fun at the expense of another former NFL star visiting his lake.
"I brought Eli here about six months ago. He came here with me to fish," Church said.
When Moss asked how Manning did on the water, Church revealed that the two-time Super Bowl champion apparently wasn't too eager to handle the fish.
"I think Ellie is afraid to hold them," she said. "I had to hold the fish for him."
"Wait, wait. Are you talking about one of the Manning brothers?" Moss asked, making sure he heard correctly.
Church confirmed it was Eli, prompting Moss to reply, "Eli, man. Come on, Eli."

But Church wasn't done cooking his fishing friend.
"I kept them all for him," he continued. "It's like what you do with your kid. You take them and give them to him and say, 'Here, you all take pictures.'
Man, that's embarrassing. But since Eli wasn't there to defend himself, we're willing to accept Church's accusations.
Although, it's worth noting that Church chose to share this particular story with the man who was at Manning's first Super Bowl victory. Moss was part of a previously undefeated New England Patriots team that was stunned by Manning and the New York Giants in Super Bowl XLII.
Fortunately for Moss, his own fishing trip with Church went much better.
Eric Church owns a bass fishing paradise hidden just outside of Nashville
The country singer's sprawling 1,600-acre estate is just 15 minutes outside of downtown Nashville and features numerous bass-filled lakes. Church revealed that he has caught four bass weighing at least 10 pounds in those waters, including a personal best of 11.2 pounds.
And the fish were definitely not shy that morning. Church landed a 6.7-pound largemouth early in the trip, and the two continued to catch fish throughout the day, including another heavy bass they estimated to be approximately 8 pounds.

They never managed to land the double-digit monster they were hoping for, but Moss has already checked that milestone off his fishing bucket list. The former NFL wide receiver previously caught a 10-pound bass on "Chasing 10," a series that takes him around the country fishing with athletes and celebrities.

The show also supports the Children's Cancer Research Fund, with the boat used throughout the set to be raffled to benefit the organization.
As for Eli Manning, maybe Church should invite him for another round. You know, to redeem yourself.
After all, if you can survive 16 years behind a 250-pound line trying to take your head off, you can certainly work up the courage to hold a fish.
