Dan rips into sports media's biggest gasbag, Dan Le Batard, after his freak meltdown and calls for Kansas City superstar Patrick Mahomes to publicly defend himself with college sports law.

ESPN NFL analyst Don Orlowski announced that his brother-in-law, Federico Lascano, died suddenly over the weekend at the age of 43. Lascano was the husband of Orlovsky's sister, Christine.

In a social media post sharing the GoFundMe campaign, Orlovsky said Lascano's death was an "unimaginable tragedy."

"There are no words to describe the heartbreak of losing a husband, partner and father so suddenly," she wrote in X. "In the midst of trying to deal with this devastating loss, my sister is now faced with the shocking reality of life as a single parent and single-income family, while helping her sons cope with the loss of their father.

"No family should have to deal with this kind of heartbreak and no one should have to worry about how they're going to cope financially as they try to pick up the pieces of their lives."

GoFundMe said the proceeds will go toward living expenses, bills and groceries while the family takes time to grieve and process this tremendous loss, "to help Christian make the sudden transition to life without the family's primary breadwinner" and "the boys' educational and essential living expenses."

"As Christine faces the unimaginable reality of life without her partner since college, she is now the sole provider and rock for her three sons. No family should have to go through this heartbreak. "Because the emotional toll on this family is immeasurable, we want to ease their financial burden so they can focus on treatment."

At the time of publication, the GoFundMe had raised more than $84,000. Donations appear to have come from Andrew Whitworth, Diana Tavarasi, Chris Mara, Jason McCourty, and Brian Flores.

This couple has been together since college.

Orlovsky appeared on "NFL Live" on Wednesday. Lascano's cause of death is unknown.
