Less than 40% of congregational prayers are performed in Qazvin offices

The Commander of Sahib Al-Amar (A.S.) Qazvin Province, criticizing the situation of performing congregational prayers in executive bodies, said: the rate of holding congregational prayers in provincial offices is less than 40% and more efforts should be made to institutionalize the culture of prayer in administrative environments.

According to Ambassador Arjan from Qazvin; In a meeting with Ayatollah Islami, the representative of the people of Qazvin province in the Assembly of Leadership Experts, General "Rostam Ali Rafiei Atani", commander of the Qazvin province's army, said: "Prayer is one of the most important pillars of the Islamic society, and in order to realize its individual and social effects, we must pass the stage of praying and reach the actual performance of prayer in society."

Referring to the role of cultural and religious currents in social developments, he added: four effective movements including literacy movement, prayer movement, Qur'an interpretation movement and zakat movement have been formed in the country, each of which has an important capacity for cultural, spiritual and social improvement of the society.

The commander of the Sahib Al-Amar Corps of Qazvin province, appreciating the efforts of Hojjat-ul-Islam Mohsen Qaraiti in promoting the culture of prayer, Quran and zakat, stated: the literacy movement played a role in the expansion of public literacy, the Quran interpretation movement provided the basis for more attention to Quranic teachings in universities and seminaries, and the zakat movement also helped to introduce this duty as an effective factor in the economy and meet the needs of vulnerable groups.

Sardar Rafiei Atani continued: If these cultural and religious currents are followed seriously, they can play a role in solving many problems of the society and provide the basis for the expansion of religious and moral values.

Emphasizing the need to pay attention to the social effects of prayer, he stated: The Holy Quran introduces prayer as a factor to prevent people from immorality and evil. Therefore, we must take this question seriously, why despite offering prayers in the society, we are still facing some anomalies and moral and social harms.

The commander of the Sahib Al-Amar Corps of the province added: One of the important points is that we have not made a difference between praying and offering prayers, while offering prayers is not only limited to performing an act of worship, but it means training a person in the path of serving God and trying to spread the culture of worship in the society.

Sardar Rafiei Atani stated that prayer should be effective in the individual and social behavior of a person, and noted that: we must strive to institutionalize the culture of prayer in the environment of the family, neighborhood, school, university, administration and other social arenas so that this divine duty becomes an all-encompassing cultural trend.

Referring to the state of holding congregational prayers in the executive bodies of Qazvin province, he said: Based on the statistics I have reviewed in this regard, the rate of holding congregational prayers in the provincial offices is less than 40%, which is not a favorable situation, while in some provinces this amount reaches more than 70%.

The Commander of Sahib Al-Amar Corps of Qazvin province, emphasizing the necessity of the presence of managers in congregational prayers, stated: In some complexes, despite the activity of 30 to 50 people, only two or three people participate in the congregational prayers, and sometimes the manager of the same complex is not present in the prayers.

Sardar Rafiei Atani, referring to the necessity of implementing the legal duties of the institutions in the field of offering prayers, added: based on the criteria mentioned in the meeting, departments that have 10 human resources must hold congregational prayers; Therefore, it is necessary to pursue this issue more seriously and to monitor the status of prayer in executive bodies.

He also emphasized the importance of the presence of officials in the programs related to offering prayers and demanded that administrators, municipalities, education and other responsible institutions pay more attention to this matter.
