Brittney Mahomes stuns fans with her gym photo, Fitzy Bo destroys the Knicks, and is college football dying?
Thursday Night Football saw Beau Nix finish dead last among 701 quarterbacks in average passing yardage as Ryan Fitzpatrick threw a brutal sack.

Three-time All-Pro quarterback and San Diego Chargers legend Shawn Merriman joins the show to examine the struggles that have plagued Justin Herbert and the Chargers through four weeks of the NFL season.
Happy Friday - Have we all cleared ourselves from that Thursday Night Football game last night?
Merciful God. I thought being a Dolphins fan for 25 years I was immune to bad quarterback play, but even I was disgusted by what I saw.
Sure, I might be a little biased because I had RJ Harvey over 3.5 receptions and Bo Nix couldn't have gotten him the ball in the second half if his life depended on it, but still...
It was bad, it was big. Wait until you see what Ryan Fitzpatrick has to say about it. master
Before that, though... welcome back to Friday Night Live - where Brittney Mahomes hits the gym and shows America she still has a fastball.
what else I college football continues its dangerous course with the 24-team playoffs, minus the aforementioned Fitzpatrick, and I don't do a lot of football, but you should have seen this penalty kick from earlier in the week.
I don't know who this cat is, where this game is played, or who these teams are... but I'm all over it. I can't stop watching it. It is mesmerizing.
Well, grab yourself a Sears Christmas catalog and start flipping things around to celebrate National Department Store Day and Hat Friday!

Brittney Mahomes puts an exclamation point on this week's "gym outfit" debate
Man, do I miss department stores. They were the best. Sure, some still exist in a way—I still have a Dillard's in my town, sort of—but it's not the same.
And today's youth will never, ever know the feeling. what a pleasure
Sears, Macy's, JCPenney, Dillard's - all mall staples in the 80's and 90's. They were in four separate corners of the mall and every time you pulled into the parking lot it was just a pick-your-own adventure book.
Which entry do we want to choose? Do we like to go through the Macy's perfume section to get to Auntie Anne's in the food court because it's faster? Will it be weird when we have to walk down Victoria's Secret with our parents? What are the chances we can convince them to give us an arcade game?
Wait, those teriyaki chicken bites on toothpicks in the food court are free?!
Man, we had it all. It was great, and for those who just want a taste, here's a throwback to what I still consider to be the best commercials of all time, even after all these years:
The main memory is unlocked. Chills, every time. That thing played 27 times an hour a day. The channel didn't matter, you knew you were getting Sears AC commercials at some point on Gilligan's Island.
Well, let's go back to 2026 (unfortunately) and kick off this class with Britney Mahomes in the gym and remind America that she's still in her prime:
"Archives never expire," Mahomes captioned the above post. I don't know what that means, but who am I to question it? I haven't been to the gym in a decade.
Welcome to class, Brittany! It was a while. Some people tend to forget about Britney Mahomes in Kansas City with now-permanent resident Taylor Swift, but I'm easier on that one.
She is still the First Lady of Arrowhead. Do not twist it. The Chiefs are still undefeated this season, and I don't expect that to change this weekend against the Chargers.
Patrick is locked in and so is Brittany Mumms. Good luck, NFL.

Let's go ahead and check in with Ryan Fitzpatrick after Denver's huge OT win last night. Spirits are certainly high right now...
Bo, penalties and the big move of college football
"Bo Nix is not playing competitively. It's almost disrespectful to the quarterback position that he's playing football right now."
My god what a butt-chewing from Ryan Fitzpatrick here. I've never seen an analyst just write off a player like that...after a win!
By the way, some people are jumping all over Fitzy today. I think this is ridiculous. He is 100,000% correct in everything he said. everything
The Knicks smell was awful last night. Denver was beyond anemic on offense. The Knicks finished with 107 yards on 17 completions and barely — and I mean barely — threw the ball beyond the line of scrimmage.
In fact, according to CBS pundit Doug Clawson, he currently ranks 701st out of 701 qualified quarterbacks over the past two decades (!!!) in average pass length (4.9 yards per attempt).
This is unspeakably bad. This is incomprehensible. I watched Tua Tagovailoa dunk and dunk for years in Miami. Bo Nix made Toa look like Dan Marino last night!
And everyone jumps on Fitzpatrick for being... mean? Give me a break
Well, let's make this Friday class a big soccer weekend! first? For those who missed it, college football is approaching the 24-team playoff starting next season.
I don't know about you, but it bothers me:
So, we're going to miss the conference championship games, which is a huge disaster. Obviously, they still don't mean as much as they used to, but the first Saturday in December is always one of the best Saturdays of the year. gone now
About a professional? Well, we get a lot of actual playoff games on campus. This is pointless. My biggest problem with the current format is the lack of intramural games. It is stupid. Most of these games should be on campus. This is what makes college football so great.
Do I think this will kill college football as many people are predicting today? no Do I think the "November games will be completely useless" as many people are predicting today? no There will still be important games in November.
The normal season generally loses some water. Can't really argue with that. The college football regular season used to be the best regular season in all of sports because the margin for error was so small. That's why Tim Tebow cried after losing to Ole Miss in 2008.
