Power outage hits 15 illegal agricultural wells in Firouzabad district

Power has been cut to 15 illegal agricultural wells in the Firouzabad district of Selseleh county due to failure to renew agricultural permits and failure to install smart meters.

The electricity of 15 delinquent agricultural wells located in Firouzabad section of Selah city was cut off due to non-renewal of agricultural license and non-installation of smart meters.

According to the report of Ambassador Arjan from Lorestan, Bijan Asdalahi, head of water affairs of Selah city, said: This action was carried out in line with the approvals of the Water Resources Protection Council of the province and Selah city, and with the cooperation of the Firozabad electricity department and the local police force.

Esdalahi stated: These wells were cut off due to the non-renewal of the agricultural license and the non-installation of the smart meter.

In the end, the head of water affairs of Al-Silasha city warned the violators of underground water resources and added: any unauthorized extraction, continuing to operate with an expired license, failure to install a smart meter, and operation of unlicensed wells will be subject to legal action and power cut. Also, operators are requested to refer to the relevant departments as soon as possible to determine the assignment of the license and install a smart meter in order to avoid the power cut and subsequent legal actions.
