Last month, along with the introduction of iPhone 18 Pro and iPhone 18 Pro Max flagship phones, Apple also introduced its first foldable phone called "iPhone Duo". Now, on the eve of the pre-sale of this device starting tomorrow and the final release on October 23 (November 1), Apple's foldable phone has appeared for the first time in the Geekbench 7 benchmark.

According to Ambassador Arjan, citing Zomit, the obtained results show that Cupertino's first folding phone offers performance at the same level as its flagship and non-folding brothers, and it will be practically the most powerful folding phone in the market to date.

According to information recorded in the Geekbench benchmark database, the foldable iPhone with the model ID iPhone 19.4 has been tested. This device uses the A20 Pro flagship chip along with 12 GB of RAM memory. Apple's first foldable has recorded 3986 points in the single-core section and 11067 points in the multi-core section in Geekbench version 7.1.0. Although these numbers may not be the highest scores recorded for the iPhone 18 Pro series, they are very close to the average performance of this powerful chip.

iPhone Duo scores on Geekbench

This level of technical efficiency confirms that users will not experience a drop in processing power compared to standard Apple phones in the foldable iPhone Duo form factor. Relying on the new chip, the folding iPhone takes the title of the most powerful folding phone in history; The position that was previously held by its closest competitor, Xiaomi 18fold with its own Xring O3 processor.
