The criteria for evaluating the economic status of households have changed by focusing on income and assets; The criteria that play a role in determining the eligibility to receive subsidies and investigating objections.

According to this policy, the country's households are divided into three groups with high, medium and low economic capacity based on total income and social characteristics. The criteria for determining each group is prepared by a working group with representatives of the Ministry of Welfare, the Program Organization, the Ministry of Economy, the Ministry of Communications and the Central Bank and approved by the Board of Ministers.

After the verification, the pensioner households of the welfare organization and the relief committee are placed in the group with low economic capacity.

Households that have the following conditions will be in the group with high economic capacity:

Residential land with a total daily value of more than 50 billion tomans

Land with non-residential use with a total value of more than 75 billion tomans

Residential units with a total value of more than 75 billion tomans

Passenger cars and vans worth more than 7.5 billion tomans

Households with energy consumption value are among 5% of the highest energy consumption

Households that have the value of the investment portfolio in the capital market are among the 5% of households with the most assets as determined by the stock exchange organization and the central depository company.

Households in the 2.5 percent have the highest value of bank facilities according to the announcement of the Central Bank

The scribe and self-authoring systems and the national real estate and housing system will be the criteria for determining whether households are tenants.

Households living in residential units owned by others without paying rent will not be included as tenants; Also, those who are owners but are tenants in another house will be considered owners.

The Tax Affairs Organization provides the tax information of individuals to the economic folder of Iranians belonging to the Ministry of Welfare.

The employees of the Armed Forces of the Atomic Energy Organization of the Ministry of Information and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs are excluded from the scope of this resolution.

The amount of goods for each household group will be approved by the Cabinet based on the proposal of the working group to determine the size criteria based on the economic arc.

The head of the Subsidy Targeting Organization announced the provision of the necessary resources to pay the cash subsidy by the end of the year and emphasized that the payments will be made without delay.
