Yahya Saree: Attack on Sanaa Will Meet Severe Response in Riyadh

Yemen's Armed Forces, amid escalating reciprocal attacks with Saudi Arabia, warned that any attack on Sanaa will be met with a severe response in Riyadh, and cautioned Saudi oil facility personnel to leave these sites.

Following the escalation of counterattacks with Saudi Arabia, the Yemeni armed forces threatened that any attack on Sana'a would be met with a strong response in Riyadh and warned the employees of Saudi oil facilities to leave these facilities.

Ambassador Arjan - International Group: The armed forces of Yemen addressed Saudi Arabia and announced that any attack on Sana'a will be answered with a severe and painful response in Riyadh, the capital of this country.

Yahya Saree, the spokesman of the Yemeni armed forces, announced this threat after the recent escalation in mutual attacks between the two countries and Saudi Arabia's threat to carry out more attacks against his country.

These forces also once again warned airlines, passengers and employees of airports and airspaces that were announced earlier.

The Yemeni armed forces also warned all the employees and citizens present near any of the facilities belonging to the oil company "Aramco" to evacuate these places and stay away from them, because these facilities are considered a legitimate target for our forces.

In this regard, the Yemeni armed forces once again warned all employees, including experts, engineers and workers in all Saudi oil facilities, to refrain from being in the places that are the targets of attacks by these forces - whether the places that have been attacked before or other places - so as not to endanger their lives.

Meanwhile, on Tuesday, Saudi warplanes bombarded the communication line "Dhi al-Barah" between Sabr al-Mawam and al-Masarakh, located in the southeast of Taiz province.

Also, Yemen's Ambassador Arjan reported that the Saudi warplanes bombarded the "Maran" section located in the southwest of Saada province in the north of Yemen.

According to this report, Saudi Arabia also bombed the communication network in the border section of "Ghamr" located in the west of Saada province.

Meanwhile, on Monday night, the spokesman of the Yemeni armed forces, Yahya Saree, said in a statement: Saudi Arabia has carried out 119 air and missile attacks on Yemen in the past 24 hours.

Saree added in this statement: In these attacks, the Saudi army bombed civilian infrastructures in the capital Sana'a and the provinces of Al-Jawf, Taiz, Saada, Marib, Lahj, Al-Bayda and Ibb.

This warning was issued after the command of the Saudi-affiliated sovereignty support coalition in Yemen asked the civilians to evacuate the premises of the Yemen Oil Company (Central Sabah Station in Sana'a) in order to save their lives, based on the descriptive map presented.

Meanwhile, the spokesman of the Yemeni armed forces announced last evening that the country's missile unit targeted the King Khalid International Airport in Riyadh with a ballistic missile and that the attack hit the target accurately.

The Yemeni armed forces also warned all international airlines, experts, employees and passengers around the world to refrain from flying to these destinations due to the insecurity of Saudi Arabia's airports. Airports and airspace of holy areas in Mecca and Medina are exempted from this warning.

In continuation of retaliatory operations, the Yemeni armed forces also targeted the Khamis Mushit air base with a drone, which was reported to have hit the target directly.

The spokesman of the Yemeni armed forces announced that more than 200 Saudi-backed forces were killed and wounded in the recent attacks on the gatherings of these forces.

The spokesman of the Yemeni armed forces announced: The attempt of the Saudi-affiliated forces to advance in the east of Jouf province was repelled and a number of military equipment of the attackers was destroyed.

Warning sirens in Riyadh and Al-Kharj, reports about a missile and drone attack on the Saudi capital, and the announcement by the Yemeni army about extensive operations against targets in Riyadh and Yanbu, have brought the tension between the two sides to a new stage. The US State Department has also issued a travel warning for all of West Asia, warning of the possibility of an escalation of the military conflict between Ansarullah and Saudi Arabia.
