Unstable Weather in Bushehr Province: Chance of Showers and Gusty Winds

BUSHEHR – A forecaster with the Bushehr Provincial Meteorological Office says scattered showers, thunderstorms, sudden gusty winds and dust are possible in eastern areas and highlands of the province this afternoon.

Bushehr - The expert of the Meteorological Department of Bushehr province announced the possibility of scattered showers, thunderstorms, sudden gusts of wind and dust in the eastern areas and highlands of the province during the afternoon hours today.

Hossein Shakohi said in a conversation with Mehr reporter: According to the meteorological maps until Monday, there will be an increase in clouds, wind blowing during the day and morning fog in some places in the morning will be the dominant phenomena in the province and on the sea.

The expert of the General Department of Meteorology of Bushehr province added: Today, in the hours from noon to early night, with the growth of clouds in some places (mostly in the eastern areas and highlands of the province), sporadic occurrences of temporary atmospheric instabilities (thunder, rain showers, momentary gusts and dust) are predicted.

He said: The sky of the province will be clear to partly cloudy in the coming hours with local dust, sometimes wind blowing, increasing clouds, and in the hours from noon to early night, temporary atmospheric instability will occur sporadically in the eastern part of the province, and tomorrow there will be morning fog in some places.

He added: Variable winds, mostly northwest to northeast, with a speed of 8 to 30, sometimes up to 38 kilometers per hour, and more than 40 kilometers per hour during the occurrence of atmospheric instability are predicted.

The expert of the General Department of Meteorology of Bushehr Province stated: The sea wave height will be 30 to 90 and sometimes 120 cm.
