Amazon Is Running a Sale on MTG x Marvel Super Heroes Boosters, Including Price Drops
Save on Magic: The Gathering's Marvel Super Heroes at Amazon, Including Commander Precons, Play Boosters, and Ridiculous Collector Bundles Ahead of Darkhold Destiny's Release Next Year
Magic: The Gathering's Universes Beyond crossovers are still controversial in the community, but there's no denying that they're bringing more eyes to what is, by all accounts, a very fun and deep card game.
If Marvel Super Heroes has you hooked, you're in good company. It's a big step up from last year's Spider-Man franchise, bringing in the Avengers, the Fantastic Four, and more iconic characters. And with Wizards of the Coast already announcing Marvel: Darkhold Destiny for April 2027, which will explore the darker, supernatural side of the Marvel Universe, there's a lot more to look forward to if you're enjoying this new crossover.
Whether you're looking to build your own collection, unlock a few booster packs, or jump right into a pre-made Commander deck, we've rounded up the best deals in the Marvel Super Heroes Magic: The Gathering collection.

The humble Stonestone booster is the backbone of any Magic: The Gathering collection, offering one of the more affordable ways to build your collection. At Amazon, you can save 28% on the Play Booster Box, down from $209.70 to $147.95. That works out to $4.93 per pack instead of the regular MSRP of $6.99, and you get 30 at a time. Not bad at all
Keep in mind that Play boosters will most likely cough up the big money cards in Marvel Super Heroes. If you're going for the gold, you're better off looking instead at the more expensive collector's amps, which are currently available on Amazon for $44.99 each, or $449.99 for the high-end amp display case.
While we're on top picks, I'd like to talk about the Collector's Edition Commander Decks, which are now down to $448.26. That's below market price compared to TCGplayer ($487) and a pretty good deal if you don't mind paying around $112 per deck. That sounds like a lot, but it's still a lot better than paying the $640 ($160 per deck) it was listed for before the sale.
If you want to find the most valuable cards in the set, you have to pay to find them.
Captain America, Super Soldier (Without Borders)
Shang Chi, Master of Kung Fu (Without Borders)
Ultron, Artificial Malice (Without Borders)
Amazon doesn't currently have a separate Play Booster available, but there are a few options worth checking out. The Marvel Super Heroes Gift Pack includes nine Play boosters and one collectible booster and is currently priced at $10. Off, it drops to less than $80. The Play boosters alone will set you back around $63, so you're basically getting a collector's booster for a much better price.
Then there's Draft Night, which is currently 25% off on Amazon. You get 12 Play Boosters for a Sealed Magic, plus a Collect Booster thrown in for good measure. At $89.99, we've crunched the numbers and you're actually paying just $6 for the pickup amp. This is a very neat deal.
If you'd rather skip the Collector's Booster altogether, the Marvel Super Heroes Pack is 27% off. Think of it as the modern equivalent of the old fat packs, giving you a nice stack of boosters without having to commit to a full box or settle for just a few.
Of course, Commander is one of the most popular ways to play Magic: The Gathering, and three of the four Marvel Super Heroes premade decks are currently discounted. Sorry Black Panther fans.
I'll start with Avengers Assemble, which features familiar faces like Captain America and makes for a fun way to learn the ropes. It's currently $54.90, down from $74.99.
I was less impressed with Doom Prevails, but if you're a fan of Marvel villains and like to add them to your collection, there's still a lot to like. It is currently 10% off at $67.38. Losing the Wakanda Forever discount, I'm personally going for Fantastic Four. It's knocked a full $30 off its MSRP, bringing it down to $44.99.
What makes Darkhold Destiny so interesting is that Wizards of the Coast has more room to tell their story with Marvel characters and settings.
Instead of just plugging familiar comic book heroes into magic, the series seems to be building something that feels more like a multi-game universe.
This is a promising direction for Universes Beyond, especially for those who like these crossovers to feel like more than a collection of recognizable faces on magic cards.
Magic: The Gathering – Marvel Darkhold Destiny Cards
We'll have to wait until April 2027 to see how the full series stacks up, but Darkhold Destiny is shaping up to be an intriguing next step for Marvel's Magic crossovers. And if Marvel Super Heroes was your gateway to the game, there's a lot more to look forward to.
