Discovery+ is raising prices for US customers, a week after Paramount closed its mega-merger with Warner Bros. Discovery to form Skydance Corp.

Starting Tuesday, October 13, 2026, the Discovery+ ad-supported plan will increase by $1 to $6.99 per month and the ad-free plan will increase by $2 to $11.99 per month in the US.

Formerly Warner Bros.' direct-to-consumer division, Discovery+ is the streaming home for programming from HGTV, Food Network, TLC, ID, Discovery, Animal Planet and Magnolia Network. A subset of Discovery+ content is also available on HBO Max. Popular in Variety

Currently, Skydance maintains its streaming service as it existed before the merger. Ultimately, the plan is to consolidate its core offerings, HBO Max and Paramount+, into a single product, Skydance President and CEO David Ellison has said.

Other popular series streaming on the platform include Evil Lives Here, Expedition Unknown, Deadliest Catch, plus shows from Chip and Joanna Gaines, Guy Fieri, Bobby Flay and more.
