Four Police Operations in Shahrud; Malicious Link Snares 14 Citizens
Shahrud – The Shahrud Police Commander reported four police operations over the past day, including the sealing of a hamburger factory, seizure of smuggled goods, return of property to fraud victims, and discovery of hunting weapons.
Shahroud - The police commander of Shahroud informed about 4 police missions during the past day and said: sealing of a hamburger factory, confiscation of contraband, return of property to the lost, and discovery of hunting weapons are among them.
In a conversation with Mehr reporter, Colonel Alireza Shaini, while referring to four different police missions in Shahrood, announced the discovery of 30 tons of rotten meat stored in a hamburger factory and stated: This factory kept quantities of rotten meat, including the meat produced in 1403, in unauthorized and unsanitary conditions.
He added: Also, investigations showed that this center bought cooked but unused meat from restaurants at a low price and stored it in unsanitary bags and in improper freezer conditions to use in the production of hamburgers.
Shahroud Police Commander stated: Following the joint inspection of the Prosecutor's Office, the Health Department, the Department of Industry, Mining and Trade and Faraja, this sealing center and the violation case were referred to the Prosecutor's Office for consideration.
Emphasizing on dealing seriously with violations that threaten the health of citizens, Shaini clarified: Faraja will take action against violations in the field of people's health without appeasement.
He announced the discovery of all kinds of contraband worth more than 25 billion Rials in the Mashhad-Tehran axis and in Shahrood city.
The police governor of Shahrood stated that the police officers of Shahrood suspected a trolley device while controlling the passing vehicles and after stopping it, during the inspection of the car, they discovered quantities of illegal food, clothes and cigarettes without valid customs documents.
Shaini added: In this regard, a case was filed and the driver was introduced to the government penal department for legal procedures.
He also announced the return of five billion Rials to the accounts of 14 citizens who were victims of unauthorized bank account withdrawals after clicking on fake links.
Shaini said: After citizens' complaints were filed, FATA police experts identified the accounts of the fraudsters by conducting technical and specialized investigations, and with legal measures, the withdrawn funds were fully returned to the accounts of the losers.
He asked the citizens to refrain from clicking on anonymous and fake links, especially links with judicial notices, and not to provide their personal and banking information to unknown people.
Police commander of Shahroud further announced the discovery of four illegal hunting weapons along with a quantity of shotgun cartridges during the implementation of the social security improvement plan.
Shaini stated: Police officers discovered these weapons with the judicial coordination and during the inspection of the homes of people with a history, and after filing the case, the accused were introduced to the judicial authorities for legal proceedings.
Emphasizing the continuation of preventive measures and dealing with crimes in Shahrood city, he noted that the police will deal legally with violations and crimes that threaten the public safety and health of citizens.
