The arrest of an armed man with two waist belts in Jordan

Intelligence police officers of Greater Tehran arrested a person who had procured and carried illegal firearms and equipment with the motive of revenge, in the area of Jordan.

According to Ambassador Arjan, the Greater Tehran Police Information Center announced the identification and arrest of a person who, with the aim of revenge, was preparing and carrying illegal firearms and equipment. This suspect was arrested in the operations of the 10th Intelligence Police Base in Jordan, and two firearms, a number of cartridges and other equipment were discovered from his car and residence.

Following the police observations and specialized actions of the experts of the 10th base of the Intelligence Police, a person who had caused concern to the citizens by keeping and carrying illegal weapons was identified.

According to this report, the accused was preparing and transporting firearms and prohibited equipment in the city with the aim of revenge and creating insecurity. After conducting the necessary investigations and identifying his identity, the officers finally arrested the accused in a residential building by following his movements in Jordan.

Discovery of illegal firearms and equipment

In the continuation of this operation, the officers searched the accused's car and residence, during which two Colt-type firearms, a quantity of cartridges, tear gas, electric shocker and some other equipment were seized.

Preliminary investigations indicate that the accused had procured these equipments with the motive of revenge. Also, in the initial report of the police, the use of industrial drugs by the defendant is mentioned as one of the issues raised in the investigation of his motive.

Greater Tehran Police Information Center emphasized: dealing with people who cause disturbances in public order and feeling of insecurity among citizens by carrying illegal weapons and criminal actions continues seriously and preventive and preemptive measures to maintain public security are on the agenda of the police.
