Mozaffar: I Am Hopeful About the Future of the Women's National Futsal Team
The head coach of the women's national futsal team said the squad has undergone many changes and needs more time to train and play together to reach the desired level of cohesion.
According to the report of Ambassador Arjan Shahrazad, Mozafar said about the last preparatory camp of the women's national futsal team: this camp was held from the 15th to the 19th of October, and during that we had two friendly matches with the teams of Polyvital Delijan Central and the women's national youth futsal team. Both teams were pursuing different goals; The youth team was preparing to participate in the upcoming competitions and the Dakar Youth Olympic Games, and the senior national team was also present in this camp with the aim of preparing for the indoor games in Riyadh. For this reason, this tournament was a good opportunity for both teams to take advantage of the created competitive conditions.
He went on to say: For the senior national team, these two matches were the first opportunity to play in the current lineup. Players who train together in the camp and must reach the necessary coordination on the field. Naturally, in the first match, due to the extensive changes in the team composition and the presence of new and young players, we were less coordinated, but in the interval between the two matches, we worked on the weaknesses and the players appeared much more coordinated and coherent in the second match.
The head coach of the women's national futsal team emphasized the necessity of increasing game experience in addition to daily training and noted: This team has experienced many changes and needs more time to train and play together in order to achieve optimal harmony. Fortunately, the progress of the players is evident and in each training session, they become more coordinated than the previous day; However, the conditions of the competition are very different from training, and preparatory games at this point can have a very valuable achievement.
Muzaffar continued: These two matches helped a lot to get a more accurate understanding of the players' conditions in the match and to evaluate the team's strengths and weaknesses in individual parts, group coordination and tactics implementation. I hope this experience will be effective in the team's preparation and we will be able to take advantage of the upcoming opportunities to achieve optimal preparation.
Pointing to the importance of indoor competitions in Riyadh, he stated: due to the intensity of the league matches and the schedule of the teams, we will not have another camp for the national team between the start of the league and the end of the first half of the season. We hope to provide the opportunity to hold another camp according to the conditions before sending to Riyadh. Therefore, the upcoming competitions are especially important for us; Because in these matches, we can test the players in three matches and in more intensive conditions, evaluate team tactics in a high-pressure situation, and get a more accurate understanding of the team's capabilities.
The head coach of the women's national futsal team expressed hope for the future of this team and said: I am very hopeful for the future of this team. Despite the time limit and the fact that in the past months a significant part of our programs was dedicated to the selection camps, we are doing our best to bring the players to the desired level of preparation and to participate in the upcoming competitions with suitable conditions.
Muzaffar further admitted about the plans of the technical staff to evaluate the players during the Premier League: We pursue two goals in parallel. On the one hand, we will monitor the performance of the players who are on the current list of the national team in the league matches, and on the other hand, we will evaluate the other players that we have previously identified in the selection camps.
In this regard, he emphasized: We are currently monitoring a group of about 40 players, and the league matches are a good opportunity to check the progress of their technical conditions and performance in a competitive environment. In addition, any player who has a significant performance during the league matches can be noticed by the technical staff. As I have emphasized before, the doors of the national team are open to deserving players, and the evaluation and possible changes in the team list according to the performance of the players will continue continuously.
In the end, the head coach of the women's national futsal team said: Considering that the league matches are held in different cities, we have requested the football federation to provide conditions so that the members of the technical staff can watch the league matches closely by dividing the responsibilities. Based on this, we will try to continuously monitor the performance of the players at the end of the matches and make the best decisions to strengthen the national team by carefully examining their technical conditions.
