Semnan Province to Launch Combined Trips for Rahian-e Noor and Atabat Pilgrims

Semnan – The Director General of Hajj and Pilgrimage for Semnan Province announced, for the first time, the implementation of a combined dispatch plan for Rahian-e Noor and Atabat Aliyat pilgrims in the province.

Semnan - The General Director of Hajj and Pilgrimage of Semnan province announced the implementation of the plan to send the pilgrims of Noor and Atbat Aliaat to the province for the first time.

According to Mehr reporter, Qadratullah Chatri, on Tuesday morning, during the signing of the memorandum of understanding on the cooperation plan for the combined sending of pilgrims of Noor and Atbat Aliyat in Semnan province, hosted by Hajj and Pilgrimage of Semnan, considered the implementation of the combined sending plan as a way to create opportunities for spiritual travel at a lower cost.

He added: This memorandum was signed between Rahian Noor Camp of Semnan Revolutionary Guards and Hajj and Pilgrimage in the province in order to develop cultural and pilgrimage activities and take advantage of the joint capacities of executive bodies.

The General Director of Hajj and Pilgrimage of Semnan Province continued: The implementation of the combined sending of pilgrims to the holy defense monuments in Iran and the shrines of the saints in Iraq is the focus of this plan.

Chatri added: Based on this memorandum, a five-day cultural and pilgrimage package has been designed, during which pilgrims will have the opportunity to visit the holy shrines of Iraq, while visiting the monuments and symbols of holy defense and learning about the culture of sacrifice and martyrdom.

Regarding the terms of the cooperation, he added: Within the framework of this cooperation, the responsibility of planning and implementing the Rahian Noor section inside the country will be the responsibility of the Semnan Province Guards Corps Rahian Noor camp, and the responsibility for the implementation of the pilgrimage section of the trip in Iraq will be the responsibility of the Hajj and Pilgrimage Management of Semnan Province.

The General Director of Hajj and Pilgrimage of Semnan province also said about the advantages of this plan: reducing travel costs and facilitating the access of different sections of the society to pilgrimage, especially the low-income sections, is one of the most important goals of this plan.

Chatri considered the cost management and utilization of joint capacities, the possibility of simultaneous benefit of pilgrims from the cultural programs of Rahian Noor and pilgrimage to the shrines with minimum cost as another advantage of this joint dispatch plan.
