Police warn brides and grooms: check garden hall licenses

Tehran Greater Police Chief urges families to verify a garden hall's license and legal status before booking, as liability for any violations does not rest solely with the owner.

The head of Greater Tehran Places Police warned the families to make sure of the license and legality of the activity before booking Baghtalar; Because in case of violation, the responsibility is not only for the owner of the place.

Colonel Ali Rafiei, head of the police monitoring of public places in Greater Tehran, in a conversation with Mehr reporter, referring to the police monitoring of ceremonies held in garden halls and places outside the city, said: if a violation is observed in a ceremony, the responsibility will lie with the person in charge of the place and the organizer of the ceremony, and both people should be held accountable for the violations committed.

He added: Some operators of places for more profit provide conditions that may cause violations such as holding ceremonies outside the rules and regulations. On the other hand, some organizers may also deliberately look for places where it is possible to hold events outside the legal framework.

The head of the police for supervision of public places in Greater Tehran continued: If a violation is observed during the police inspection, first of all, the person in charge of the place who created the conditions for the violation, and then the person who was responsible for organizing the event and who intentionally participated in that violation, will be followed up and a case will be filed against them.

What should families do before reserving the venue?

Emphasizing the need for families to pay attention to the legal permits of the place where the ceremony is held, Rafiei said: "For any event held in the security area of Tehran, the police takes into account the necessary coordination and permits from the point of view of policing and security; Because every event is held in a certain physical place and the policing and security requirements of that place must be checked.

He added: Therefore, before choosing a place, the families and organizers of the ceremony should make sure that the activity of that place is legal and have the necessary permits, and they should not choose a place to hold the ceremony based on the advertisement or the suggestion of the organizer.

Rafiei also explained about the licensing mechanism for the events: Before issuing the license, the necessary commitments are received from both the organizer and the trustee or the owner of the place so that both parties are responsible for complying with the rules and providing the policing and security requirements.

He continued: For example, if an organizing company intends to hold a concert, conference or any other event, the necessary obligations are received from the organizer, and on the other hand, the trustee or owner of the place where the event is to be held must also provide the obligations related to the place.

The head of the police for supervision of public places of Greater Tehran emphasized: This mechanism is planned in a two-way way so that both the organizer and the custodian of the place are responsible for the correct implementation of the event and compliance with the rules.
