The chairman of the Tehran City Council, referring to the presence of people posing as unofficial passenger drivers or street vendors, said that many people come into Tehran and use its facilities.
According to the report of Ambassador Arjan Mehdi Chamran, in the 438th meeting of the Islamic Council of Tehran and during the review of the bill to determine the price of services for the use of roads by companies that provide smart passenger services since 1405, he stated that every day I see one or two minibuses stationed on Shahid Fayaz Street, he said: Passengers rest in these minibuses, and every morning when we come with the council, these people come out of the minibus in pajamas and collect their bed sheets. they bring
He added: This incident is not related to one or two days, and we have been facing such a thing for months. These people enter Tehran and use the facilities and turned it into a hostel and inn.
Chamran further reminded: In Mirdamad, we also see seven or eight people sleeping on the street, and when they leave, they sell their space to others and go to travel. These things are not right and will destroy the city. Like hand-selling, which has become widespread and in my opinion, the municipality does not stop them. The longer the situation is left, the worse it will get. I am worried that one day the people of all the villages will come to Tehran and sell handicrafts. It hurts everything in the country.
The head of Tehran City Council emphasized: We must take the necessary measures in this department and approve the cases. If we are going to write a letter, we should do it. Let's follow up with the Ministry of Interior to stand by its regulations and laws.
He added: My request is to receive these figures from the beginning of the year in the list that we send to the Ministry of Interior and the Supreme Council of Provinces for the year 1406.
