Council Welcomes Municipal Housing Support Package

Chairman of the Tehran City Council, referring to the implementation of the commodity price stabilization plan, said: People are satisfied that prices have remained stable.

Like the conditions of the war, the help for reconstruction was not seen in the Council, but it was finally approved and implemented, and its report should be submitted to the Article Five Commission. In cases beyond legal duties, we must help, and not only the municipality, but also government agencies and benefactors must cooperate.

Stating that TOD is a way to use it in the field of transportation, Chamran said: We had objections to this issue, but it has not been presented to the council yet and will be reviewed after the presentation.

The head of the Islamic Council of Tehran emphasized: The closure of Yas Fatemi Park has security reasons and there is no special reason for its closure.

Regarding the reconstruction of Azadi Stadium, Chamran clarified: This matter must be approved by the Article Five Commission and the Council, and then action should be taken. The government has not yet given up on this issue and has only suggested that the municipality help. We check in the budget that the aid is done rather than doing 100% reconstruction. We have to see if the government agrees with this and then we have to see if the council approves it or not.

In response to the critics of the zero inflation plan, he said: It is good for anyone to keep the price stable. This is very valuable work, but there are some twists and turns in how to do it. The plan is being implemented and I have observed it closely. In any case, people are satisfied and happy that the price of goods remains stable and does not increase.

The head of Tehran Islamic Council stated that we have not yet seen the plan of region 14 to create a special lane for motorcyclists and said: Region 4 municipality has also created grooves in the roads.

Chamran also clarified: We also gave warnings about the garbage collector. It seems that they have returned again and this is not true and should be organized.

Stating that the plan has not been clearly seen in the budget, he said: For now, the budget at the disposal of the mayor will be used for this plan so that this plan can be presented to the parliament for approval.
