Hossein Abarqaui, the 30-year-old defender of Persepolis, talked about his short time in Esteghlal Club.

According to "Varzesh Se", Hossein Abargoui joined Persepolis in the summer of last year and performed well in his first year at this club. Hossein Abargoui's high-quality performance in the heart of Persepolis' defensive line even led to his presence in the pre-final list of the national team before the start of the World Cup. Now, Hossein Abargoui revealed during an interview on the Premier Football program that he trained with the Esteghlal team in the past and was even included in the team's senior list. But the fate of Hossein Abargoui ended up in a different way and he is now playing for Persepolis in the third decade of his life.

Hossein Abargoui said: This is my picture in Omidhai Esteghlal team. I was in the base team and played in Persepolis youth team. But at that point I made a mistake. At that time, I was playing in the youth category and in Omid, and in the same season, players like Shahab Zahedi, Mohammad Rahmati and some other good footballers were with us. But I made a mistake at that time and went to the senior league and joined Pars Tehran club. It was the biggest mistake of my life that I played in the senior category and got destroyed.

I was born in 1975 and I was planning to go to Persepolis, but Omid Persepolis' quota was full and a friend of Esteghlal told me to talk to the head coach and come to the team's training. Mr. Peyman Sahibjami did this and I hope they are safe wherever they are. I went to Esteghlal training and played a half in a friendly match. Later, I joined the senior team and even during Alireza Mansourian's presence, I was in Esteghlal's senior team for 5 games. I always trained with the seniors of this team, but at the end of the season I decided to go to the expansion team of Tabriz Steel and I played there for two years and had good conditions.
