Ambassador of Arjan - Provinces Group, Muhaddeh Mirjalili; Some people can be recognized not by their years of life, but by the footprints they leave in the lives of others; People who don't wait for help in normal days and difficult moments and consider themselves responsible wherever they see a need. Mohammad Mahdi Rezaei Sadrabadi was one of these people; Basiji and Jihadi force, according to his family, serving the people was not a temporary responsibility for him, but a way of life.
Martyr Mohammad Mehdi Rezaei Sadrabadi was injured by a rocket and a shrapnel hit his area during the Ramadan war, and after months of suffering complications from the injury and being in a coma, he died on the morning of Sunday, October 5, 1405.
For many years, he was present in various fields of service, Basij activities and serving pilgrims of Ahl al-Bayt (AS), followed the same spirit that his family and relatives remember from him even in difficult days.
The narrative of Shahid Rezaei's relatives about his life paints a picture of a hard-working and responsible youth who did not miss the opportunity to serve during the Corona crisis, flood days, mobilization activities and serving Arbaeen pilgrims. From disinfecting the passages and helping the sick to being in flood-affected areas and working day and night in the Arbaeen procession, each is a part of the memories that his family narrates of his jihadist spirit.
He was on the path of Basij and Velayat since he was a teenager
The uncle of Martyr Mohammad Mahdi Rezaei Sadrabadi, in an interview with Mehr reporter, pointed to the martyr's moral qualities and activities and stated: Martyr Mohammad Mahdi Rezaei Sadrabadi was a diligent, sincere and tireless jihadist who worked in the path of Basij, the Islamic Revolution, and the Province, and remained on this path until the last moments of his life.
Mohammad Hossein Rezaei Sadrabadi stated that Shahid Rezaei was present in the field both in the 12-day war and in the Ramadan war, adding: He was injured during the Ramadan war due to the attack of the American enemy, and after that, he struggled with the complications of the injury for nearly six months and was in a coma until Sunday, the fifth of October, he achieved his long-held wish, which is martyrdom.
Referring to his nephew's personality traits, Shahid Rezaei's uncle clarified: Mohammad Mehdi was a man of God, a man of forgiveness and chivalry. He was sincere in his work, hardworking and respected his parents and elders. Patience and tolerance were also among his prominent features.
Referring to the attachment of the martyr to Imam Hussain (a.s.) and Imam Reza (a.s.), the uncle of the martyr Muhammad Mahdi Rezaei said: Muhammad Mahdi was both the servant of Imam Hussain (a.s.) and the servant of Imam Reza (a.s.), and a large part of his activities were done in the way of serving the Ahl al-Bayt (a.s.), the province, and the people.
He continued: Mohammad Mahdi wished to be martyred and finally achieved this long-standing wish. I hope God accepts this testimony from him; However, I believe that he was favored by God because of his sincerity, service to the people, and his devotion to Ahl al-Bayt (AS).
Shahid Rezaei; Servant of Imam Reza (a.s.) and servant of Arbaeen pilgrims
The cousin of Shahid Mohammad Mehdi Rezaei Sadrabadi said in an interview with Mehr reporter: Mohammad Mehdi was about five years older than me, but we were together since we were teenagers. We used to play together, go on trips, and later we were together in Basij activities. For this reason, I have many memories of his life and activities.
Ehsan Rezaei Sadrabadi, referring to the martyr's spirit of service, added: If I want to express one of the most important characteristics of Mohammad Mahdi, I must say that he always exceeded others in serving. Many people may be worshipers, but Mohammad Mahdi's outstanding feature was that, along with spirituality and adherence to worship, he also took the initiative to serve the people.
Martyr Reza'i's cousin, referring to the verse "Wal-Sab-Qun, O-Wal-e-K-Al-Muqar-Boon" said: "Perhaps at first sight, overtaking in this verse is interpreted more as worship and spirituality, but Muhammad Mahdi was also ahead of others in serving the people." Wherever there was a field to serve, he tried to get there.
Referring to the religious activities of Martyr Reza'i, he pointed out: Mohammad Mahdi had the opportunity to serve as a servant of Imam Reza (a.s.) on special days in the holy shrine of Razavi. He was also very serious and diligent in these activities. He had an effective presence in the Arbaeen procession and served the pilgrims. In such a way that it may be difficult for someone who did not witness his activities closely to imagine the amount of his efforts.
From helping corona patients to being in flooded areas
Referring to the memories of the corona epidemic period, Rezaei Sadrabadi said: During that time, Mohammad Mehdi went to places where many people were not willing to be there. Even in some cases, the patient's family could not take care of him due to the difficult conditions of the disease, but Mohammad Mehdi would go to the hospital to help maintain and clean the patient and do the necessary work.
He continued: He was also present in the disinfection of passages and streets, as well as activities related to the production and distribution of masks. Wherever he felt that people needed help, he took the initiative to be there and did not wait for others to ask him for help.
Reminiscing the days of the flood, the cousin of Shahid Rezaei said: The day the flood came, it was around four o'clock in the morning when Mohammad Mahdi mobilized his people to help the people. While many people might not know about the incident yet, he had been serving the people since the early hours.
He added: "I remember that around five in the morning, in one of the houses where the water had collected behind the wall, Mohammad Mehdi was draining the water from behind the wall of the house." At that hour, the landlord was probably still asleep, but he was there to help people.
Rezaei Sadrabadi stated that these behaviors were not specific to a specific incident or period and clarified: Mohammad Mahdi was always waiting for an opportunity to serve. It didn't matter if this opportunity was provided during the days of Corona, when there was a flood, during mobilization activities or during the war and defense of the country; He tried to appear in every arena where his presence was needed.
A memory of fatigue that did not prevent service
Shahid Rezaei's cousin, referring to one of his memories of the Arbaeen procession activities, said: We had a procession in the Sahle Mosque and Mohammad Mahdi was busy serving there. Once, after several hours and even several days of activity and lack of sleep, we took a cart device to move goods from one place to another.
He continued: He was so tired that not much time had passed that he fell asleep on the same cart for a minute, woke up and continued his work. This memory for me showed the spirit he had in all the years of his life; He felt tired, but he didn't let it stop him from doing his duty.
Emphasizing that the service spirit of martyr Rezaei was very important along with his spiritual qualities, Rezaei noted: When we look at the lives of other martyrs such as Shahid Hasannejad and others, we see that besides prayer, fasting and worship, they were also people of mujahidat and presence in the field. Mohammad Mahdi was the same way; He was a person of worship and adhered to religious values, but besides that, he also made time for people in practice.
He added: He had the same spirit during the Ramadan war and continued to work and serve despite fasting. In my opinion, striving and serving the people was one of the prominent features of his personality; A feature that was seen throughout his life.
The eternal flight of Mohammad Mehdi Rezaei Sadrabadi was not only the end of a jihadist life; Rather, he opened a new chapter of perseverance against the enemies who thought that they could break the will of the men of this land with shrapnel and fire.
Today, the name and memory of Mohammad Mahdi is recorded not only in the memories of family and friends, but also as a symbol of a "revolutionary mobilization"; A young man who shielded his chest in the battlefield and was a servant of the people in the field of service.
His testimony is a true testimony to the fact that this land will always remain strong against any kind of threat and aggression in the light of the sacrifice of its children. Because the culture of martyrdom is a legacy that flows in the veins of the men of this land, and as long as this spirit remains, no enemy will be able to stand against the steel will of this nation.
