Bloody conflict at the wedding of Aliabadkatol Golestan; 1 killed and 5 injured / 15 people were arrested

Col. Seyyed Jaafar Sadati, the deputy police chief of Golestan, said: Police officers were immediately dispatched to the scene of the incident after the 110 police emergency center announced that an armed family conflict had occurred during the wedding ceremony.

An armed conflict between members of two families during a wedding ceremony in one of the villages of Aliabadkatol left 6 injured and one of them died. The police announced the arrest of 15 perpetrators and participants in this conflict.

According to Rokna, Colonel Seyyed Jaafar Sadati, the deputy police chief of Golestan, said: Police officers were immediately dispatched to the scene of the incident after the 110 police emergency center announced that an armed family conflict had occurred during a wedding ceremony.

He added: Preliminary investigations showed that 16 members of 2 families got into a fight with each other during the wedding due to previous family disputes.

Sadati continued: The people present in the conflict, who according to him were not all in a normal state, attacked each other with knives and hunting weapons. One of the accused also shot with a shotgun and then ran away from the place.

Golestan's deputy police chief said: 6 people were injured in this incident, one of them died in the hospital due to the severity of his injuries, and the physical condition of another person is reported to be critical.

He pointed out that 3 main agents and 12 other participants in the conflict were arrested with intelligence and law enforcement measures. Also, one car and two motorcycles were confiscated.

Referring to the continued efforts of the police to arrest the shooter, Sadati said: The results of the police's actions in this regard will be announced later.

Stating that the defendants are between 25 and 35 years old, he emphasized the need for families to monitor the behavior of young people and added: "The police will spare no effort to uphold people's rights, especially in dealing with violent crimes."

It should be noted that last month, a conflict leading to a murder was reported in one of the villages of Aliabadkatol city.
