Khatami: The American official's prediction about the collapse of Iran's economy did not come true

The preacher of Friday prayers in Tehran pointed to the statements of the US foreign minister about the collapse of Iran's economy and said: Rubio had said that Iran's economy would collapse in two weeks, but the country's economy has become more dynamic.

According to Mehr reporter, Ayatollah Seyyed Ahmad Khatami said in the first sermon of Friday prayers in Tehran, referring to verse 106 of Surah Al-Imran: "A day will come when there will be white and bright faces and black faces." Those who lived with values in this world and had a bright life, will also have a bright face in the next world; But those who lived black in this world and had an evil life, will see the result of their actions in the form of blackness on the Day of Judgment.

He added: Human life in this world is short and usually does not reach a hundred years; Therefore, we should improve our hereafter with a white, luminous and valuable performance in this limited opportunity.

Referring to the subject of the Prophet's life in past sermons, the temporary imam of Tehran said: In the previous sermons, the subject of the life and method of the Holy Prophet (PBUH) was brought up and various topics were discussed, which, in my opinion, is worth a book. If these topics are collected, it can be a book about the biography of the Prophet (PBUH).

Khatami continued: In these discussions, we also discussed the life of the Prophet (PBUH) in war; Because we faced the war ourselves and we felt that this way and method should be told.

Stating that today's topic is dedicated to both the war and the post-war era, he clarified: The issue under discussion is honoring those who are on the front line. During the war, the warriors are on the front line, and the Quran, the biography of the Prophet (PBUH) and the biography of the Imams (PBUH) emphasize honoring the warriors, sacrificers, veterans and the families of the martyrs. All these people are included in the group of martyrs and should be given special attention.

The temporary imam of Tehran added: It should not be said that five fingers are not different from each other and one is bigger and the other is smaller. A person who has sacrificed for religion, became a veteran or lost a loved one, should be honored more.

The Holy Quran differentiates between warriors and others

Referring to verse 95 of Surah Nisa, Khatami said: In this verse, warriors are honored twice and it is emphasized twice not to consider them the same as others.

He said the verse "Let not the unbelievers of the non-believers be the first of harm and those who strive in the way of Allah with their wealth and their souls." He recited and added: Those who are not present in the field and as if there is no war going on, are not the same as those who sacrifice their lives and property in the way of God. Both those who sacrifice in the sea, on the ground and in the air.

The temporary imam of Tehran continued: God says, "Allah blesses the Mujahideen with their wealth and souls"; Therefore, one should not ask why warriors have such a position. God has a separate account for the warriors.

Referring to another part of the verse, he stated: The Holy Qur'an says, "And Allah has favored the Mujahideen with a great reward"; God has given a great reward to the Mujahideen. For months, the accounts of fighters and martyrs have been separated from those who are not martyrs.

The narration of the story of honoring the warriors of the Battle of Badr by the Prophet (PBUH)

Khatami further referred to a narration of the life of the Prophet (PBUH) under verse 11 of Surah Mujadalah and said: It was Friday and the Prophet (PBUH) was sitting among the Companions of Safa. Companions of Safa were among the fighting and deprived immigrants who lived in Madinah.

He added: If you have visited Madinah or will visit it, they will show you the place of Ashab Safa at the beginning of your entry from Bab Jibreel. There were so many people there that there was no place to drop a needle. Everyone was sitting to enjoy the presence of the Prophet (PBUH).

Tehran's interim Friday imam continued: A number of Badr war warriors arrived. The Battle of Badr was a very important battle and the Badrians are very proud in the history of Islam. In Hazrat Abul Fazl's (pbuh) pilgrimage book, we also say that our master went the same way that Badriun went; These people had a great status and were warriors.

Khatami said: These warriors entered and saluted. Their greeting had a clear meaning; It means make room for us to sit. But no one got up; Because they were afraid of losing their place.

Addressing the worshipers and those who will later observe the Friday prayer sermons in Tehran, he said: Pay attention to this part of the narration; It cost the Holy Prophet (PBUH) to treat the warriors like this. He told two or three people who were sitting on their right side to get up and they got up. They also told two or three other people who were on their left side to get up and then they said to the warriors of the Battle of Badr, come and sit next to me.

Tehran's interim Friday imam added: It was natural for those whom the Prophet (PBUH) raised from their places to be upset. The hypocrites also mocked and said: This is your righteous prophet. He raised you up and made these people sit down.

Referring to the revelation of verse 11 of Surah Al-Mujadalah, he stated: After this incident, this verse was revealed: "O you who believe, let it be said to you that you will be freed in the councils." That is, when you are told to make room in the parliament, make room. He also goes on to say: "And he said, 'Anshuzwa Fanshuzwa'"; That is, if you are told to get up, don't be upset.

Khatami continued: God says in this verse: "Allah raises those who believe among you and those who are advanced in knowledge"; God elevates the believers and those who have been given knowledge. Believers are dear, but those who have been given knowledge also have a special place.

Six points from the life of the Prophet (PBUH) in honoring warriors

Referring to this historical narrative, the temporary imam of Tehran emphasized six points.

In the first point, he said: honoring the warriors is not exclusive to the Battle of Badr; The warriors of the eight years of holy defense, the warriors of the 12-day war and the martyrs of the Ramadan war are also respected and should be honored and celebrated.

Khatami clarified in the second point: glorification is not only in language and should also be done in action; Just as the Holy Prophet (PBUH) actually glorified the warriors in this incident so that everyone knows that the position of the warrior is different from others.

In the third point, he said: What the Prophet (PBUH) did was the same as justice. Because justice means putting everything in its place. The warrior should have been honored, and the hypocrites who protested against this action said a wrong thing and wanted to sting unnecessarily.

In the fourth point, the imam of the interim Friday in Tehran stated: Hypocrites do not like glorifying warriors.

In the fifth point, he said: Warriors are examples of "Uluwa al-Alam"; Because they have seen God's favors on the front.

In the sixth point, Khatami said by referring to the verse "There was goodness in the Messenger of God for those who hope in God and in the Last Day and remember God a lot." Learn from the Holy Prophet (PBUH); This is the life of the Prophet (PBUH).

Criticism of statements against fighters

The interim Imam of Tehran further criticized those who, according to him, taunt the warriors instead of honoring them, and stated: The meaning of the life of the Prophet (PBUH) is that if you don't want to honor your warriors, why do you sting them?

He added: The fighter who targeted the offending ship and ensured your safety deserves to be appreciated. The fighters have seen that three ships have violated the path they should not have crossed and targeted them; Their hands should not hurt.

Khatami continued: Should you say such words in your interviews to thank the fighters? You owe it to this warrior. If it wasn't for his missiles, they wouldn't have put America and the Zionist regime in place, and you wouldn't be able to speak calmly.

He emphasized: You owe your peace today to the warriors. This honorable verse says that the warrior should be respected; Not only during the war, but also after the end of the war. The martyrs of Noor Eye were, are and will be.

the second sermon; Resurrection and the need to answer for actions

At the beginning of the second sermon, after reciting Surah Asr, Ayatollah Seyyed Ahmad Khatami said: One of the characteristics of the Day of Resurrection is that a person sees and reaps the results of his actions in what he has done in this world. On that day, there will be no more production.

Referring to the verse "The Day of Remembering Human Effort", he said: A day will come when a person remembers what he has done and sees that he will reap the results of his actions. If he has done a good deed, they will bring him the paradise he has provided.

Tehran's Interim Friday Imam continued: But the one whose actions have brought him to hell, he regrets when he sees the result of his work. However, there is no use regretting that day.

Khatami emphasized: Doomsday is happening and there is no doubt about it. We all go to that world and we have to answer for our actions.

He went on to say that he has prepared seven topics for the second sermon and said: In this limited opportunity, I will try to express the topics in a concise and concise manner. However, preparing this short speech will take a week of my time, and I am proud to study in your company and, God willing, give a calculated speech.
