According to Ambassador Arjan, Shahram Maleki, Deputy Minister of Roads and Urban Development, emphasized the necessity of providing the necessary infrastructure in the projects of the National Housing Movement and said: The priority in the implementation of these projects is not only the construction and delivery of residential units, but also the preparation, provision of infrastructure services and provision of suitable conditions for people's residence.

Referring to the measures taken in East Azarbaijan Province, Maleki said: The measures taken by the Governor, the Deputy Governor of the Governorate, the members of the Housing Council and the service providers have provided a suitable basis for the exploitation of residential projects in this province.

He added: Holding meetings of the housing council and continuous follow-up of issues related to the implementation of projects plays an important role in solving problems and accelerating the process of completing residential units. In East Azarbaijan province, suitable conditions have been provided for the advancement of these programs, and this province is a leader in some measures related to the implementation of housing projects.

Referring to the weekly monitoring of housing projects by the Minister of Roads and Urban Development, the Deputy Minister of Roads and Urban Development stated: The status of project implementation is continuously evaluated in order to identify existing problems and take necessary measures to improve the implementation process.

Maleki continued: According to the approach of the Ministry of Roads and Urban Development, the opening of residential units should be done after ensuring the preparation and provision of the required infrastructure services, and in areas where superstructure services are also needed, this issue should be specially considered in the planning.

Referring to the status of the National Housing Movement projects in the new city of Sahand, he said: In total, 18,624 residential units are being implemented in the new cities of East Azerbaijan Province in the form of the National Housing Movement Plan.

The Deputy Minister of Roads and Urban Development emphasized: The purpose of implementing these projects is not only to build housing, but also to provide the necessary infrastructure and services to provide decent living conditions for people.
