SpaceX has again tightened Starlink restrictions for the Ukrainian army, former adviser says

Sergei Sterlenko said the disruptions will now begin at speeds of 60 to 70 km/h

Moscow, October 14. /TASS/. Sergei Strenenko, a former adviser to Ukraine's defense minister, said SpaceX had imposed higher speed limits on Starlink terminals used by Ukraine's military.

He wrote in Telegram: "Our service members report that restrictions on the use of Starlink satellite communication terminals have been tightened by our operators. Now disturbances start at a speed of 60 to 70 kilometers per hour.

Sergei Beskrestnov, a foreign consultant and communications and unmanned systems expert to Vladimir Zelensky, said earlier Wednesday that SpaceX had limited the speed of Starlink terminals used by the Ukrainian military, and that the disruption occurred at speeds above 160 kilometers per hour. According to Bashkarstenov, this action disrupted a number of missions.
