Conte Ready to Return / Popular Coach's Shadow Looms Over Crick at Old Trafford

Antonio Conte is one of the serious candidates to take charge of Manchester United.

According to "Verzeh Se", according to Larpublica and quoted by Il Napolista, Manchester United fans want the presence of the former head coach of Napoli on the bench of this team, although the club has not yet taken any action in this regard. This newspaper writes: "No decision has yet been made to change the head coach at Old Trafford."

Conte has been without a team since leaving Napoli in the summer after two seasons at the club. He has never hidden his desire to return to the English Premier League, where he won the league with Chelsea and then took charge of Tottenham. Saturday's 1-1 draw against Tottenham did not end in favor of Michael Carrick.

Manchester United took the lead through Brian Mbouemo's goal, but Dominic Solanke equalized in stoppage time with Tottenham down to 10 men and still without a win in the Premier League this season. This result has raised doubts about Carrick's competence to lead Manchester United once again; However, he was able to bring this team to the European Champions League quota last season.

Conte recently said he would like to take over a club that has "lost touch with its history"; A comment that many linked to Juventus and Manchester United.
